This is a nice brewer, although you can't do highly concentrated cold brews with it. I was going to do a 4:1 with 250g of coffee and 1l of water, but I only got about 220g of coffee in and the 1l capacity was diminished with the filter full. I brewed 24 hours on the countertop (to get a bit more concentration), and it worked great. I love that you can pour the coffee without removing the filter basket, good for dialing in your concentration and grind. But I took it out before putting it in the fridge, so I could add the ground coffee to my compost and stop the brew intensity.Going forward I'll probably brew it to drinking strength, or use it for tea or fruit infusions (great for keeping pulp and peels out of your glass). It would be nice if there was some English instruction in the package, but you can go back to the Amazon page to get the English translations, or just go with your preferred proportions (assuming the basket will hold enough material).

I already own cold brew coffee maker that I love, but didn’t want to also use it for ice tea for fear of mixing flavors. This Doonly Portable Cold Brew Maker is the perfect solution. The price is right, and so is the design and mesh that keeps the loose tea from seeping out. I love ice tea but heating it up and cooling it down and finding a container is a lot of work. With this handy cold brew tea maker, all I have to do is place some tea into the filter, attach the filter to the lid, pour in some water and wait 6 to 12 hours to enjoy. I’m still figuring out exactly how much tea to use and how many hours is best but that’s fun too. So far, every bottle of tea has been terrific. Next, I’ll try fruit infusions.

THIS IS PLASTIC, NOT SURE IF BPA OR NOT THE CENTER DOESN'T SCREW ON IT POPS ON BUT STAYS ON, THE CYLINDER IN THE MIDDLE IS NOT METAL IT LOOKS PLASTIC BUT ITS A VERY VERY VERY FINE MESH WHERE YOU CANT EVEN SEE THE HOLES LIKE A METAL ONE. FITS IN MINI FRIDGE FINE AND DOES WHATS NEEDED FOR LITERALLY WAYYYYYYY LESS THEN EVERYONE ELSE
