I bought this on a $3 USD sale. I was looking for a suitable small board for a chess set I am building for a small, packable set to bring with me out for a boba tea and a few games with friends. I 3d printed the cat chess pieces and used the magnets pieces that came with this chess set to make my pieces magnetic. Concerned about the hinges from the reviews so I am very careful with this when handling it.

The media could not be loaded.  I love this so much. It's perfect for travel, lightweight to pack, and well-made for the price.The pieces slide easily but are still magnetic. It makes playing games on-the-go fun and easy.This is going on my "must buy" list for my relatives and friends who enjoy travel and camping.

Bought this for our son to take to school to play with his friends. Good quality great item good value for money

Angekommen ist ein sehr einfaches aber sehr praktisches Schachbrett.Es liegt zusammengeklappt in der Hand wie ein größeres Smartphone- passt also in jede Tasche.Die Figuren sind magnetische Plättchen, die man erstmal aus der Schablone drücken muss- dabei fransen sie am Rand etwas aus, muss man ggf etwas abkratzen.Die Scharniere wirken etwas instabil. Mal sehen wie lange sie halten.Eine Ablagefläche für die geschlagenen Figuren ist zwar am Rand vorhanden aber nicht magnetisch und auch zu schmal bemessen. Die Plättchen passen gerade so nicht rein.Was mich am Meisten stört ist die Farbgebung. Was ist denn nun weiß- die weißen Plättchen oder die dunklen mit den weißen Figuren? Sogar auf den Produktfotos steht die schwarze Dame auf dem weißen Plättchen mal auf dem weißen und mal auf dem schwarzen Startfeld.Fand es im ersten Spiel dadurch etwas unübersichtlich. Denke aber man gewöhnt sich dran.Bin alles in Allem zufrieden.
