It really is 2 toys in 1!
My cat LOVES this! He seems to be mesmerised by the way it moves unpredictably. The green mouse adds weight, meaning it does actually seem like a different playing experience compared to the other, lighter end of the toy. My only criticism is that the mouse is made of hard plastic, which isn't very good for biting and scratching, a fabric mouse would seem preferable.

Great but get the one without the green handle.
The cat when a kitten loved this and still, now 1y6m, plays with it on occasion. It replaced its earlier model which she also played with constantly eventually destroying it this (the older one) didn't have the green handle and consequently made much more random erratic movements. Get this one if you can it is 5* Cat didn't seem to care but I did!

you don't need the plastic mouse (I threw it out) it is cheap and stupid - if I bought it again I wouldn't get this version. Cat otherwise likes the cat dancer itself.
