A: This device is designed to break a ground loop when it occurs over the “signal ground” of a signal wire. The shielding from the male end of the cable is not connected to the shielding of the female end of the cable. It will only help if your buzzing was due to a ground loop over an unbalanced signal wire.

**Q: Would this cancel the noise of engine on the speakers?**
A: Got noise coming from your alternator or engine noise. Try a capacitor on your alternator output tied to your power line to ground. Here are some links for a capacitor and info to go with it.

**Q: como se instala?**
A: I installed mine right next to the amp in the back floorboard of my truck. Isolator has 2 RCAs one each to your deck and amp. I installed mine backwards from the labeling because inputs to amp are female and RCAs from deck are male. Works great.

**Q: Could I use it to convert an unbalanced 600 ohm line level load to a balanced load?**
