I was pretty worried about this but it works great so far, it plays the included music best. It is pretty powerful and loud and creates the ozone smell but that’s typical for these.The Bluetooth works ok, it was a bit spotty at times, but most of the time it worked.If I had a bigger sound library of songs that were in the right form, that would help, but it’s super fun as is, easy to use and not much risk of getting electrocuted.Right out of the box, I put the rod in the center and plugged it in and it fired right up, instructions were a bit vague but I figured it out. The switch has multiple positions for music or just pulsing on and off.On to the actual “lightning” it looks ok, better in the dark for sure. When it’s louder the sparks go down the rod a bit instead of staying at the top but overall looks really cool.Would definitely recommend for science demonstrations or other applications, not necessarily for small spaces as it’s really loud.Overall, great product and I got it at a great price. It would be a great way to try one of these out before getting a more expensive one.

Followed the 4 easy steps to assemble, and as soon as I plugged it in, it made an awful sound, and emitted a terrible odor. Absolutely nothing worked on it. I did connect my phone with the Bluetooth, and nothing came out of the speaker. It is cheaply made, so not surprised that nothing works. This product is laughably horrible.

It was well packaged and wrapped up. I was in awe of how well built it was. The circuit board is cleaned and tidy. All of the solder joints appear well done. The clear case was pristine free of even a smug. It works just as advertised, plays jewelry box music great. Absolutely recommend it is worthy every penny. Great to show kids and friends experience electricity.

The charger doesn’t work.

This thing is really cool, I never thought I would have my own Tesla coil. The website they have with the square Wave music really makes this thing. Hum or rather pop. My cat goes through the roof and can't stand. It should runs into the other room to get away. I'm sure there's a lot of noise from it that you can't hear with human ears. But it works just like the videos you see on YouTube or on the product site. I want to experiment with it more bud, I don't want to irritate my cat that much.

Highly disappointed in this product…It worked a few times, and then all of a sudden, it stopped - I’m not sure if this is because of overheating or because I wrapped an insulated copper wire around its metal tip to conduct electricity though the wire?Regardless, I tried to troubleshoot the issue by plugging the device into the wall and unplugging it, but nothing seems to work! For a minute, I allowed it to cool off, but still… nothing works! Any suggestions? It would be nice if the device came with better instructions, regarding troubleshooting…

This is a fun little item. Wasn't able to get it to connect to a music source so that's the three stars rating, but I also bought a sample pack of elemental gas with this to show my son how each gas has a different color when electricity runs through it. He loved it. It can get pretty loud if you crank up the intensity so be warned and after a while you can smell the O3 the electricity is creating.

I was impressed and disappointed at the same time. I thought it used 12v only to find it uses 48v so much for my reason for buying it but I had considered it and was ready for that. It’s amazing how powerful the arc is. My only issue is that the power supply obviously burnt out after less than 5 minutes. Now I have another electonic piece of scrap but I got a price on the low end .
