I absolutely love using this at night. You only need a small amount, as depicted above. I do not like wearing this during the day however. Since it is petroleum based it can get a little heavy unless I'm in my Air conditioned home lol. If you have dry irritated skin it helps a lot.

I am currently using tret and this ointment has saved my flaky skin many times! It doesn’t feel greasy at all and it protects my skin from the elements, but if you wear it during the day it will look shiny. However I don’t mind as it helps protects my dry skin.

great for cracked heels

I wasn’t sure about this product at first. It didn’t seem any different than any other petroleum product. I was wrong. I received a sample from my dermatology office to try on a tiny eczema patch under my eye. It was gone after two applications. I am outside a lot shooting wild life photography, golfing and gardening and I have been applying this when I am done and it softens my hands and takes away the dryness form the weather. It is a little greasy going on, however absorbs and rubs in easily.

This is wonderful in place of plain vaseline. It has hydrating properties which I love. I use it on my hands at night and my lips. It will help restore a damaged skin barrier as well.
