BerkleyWire-Wound Steelon Leaders 6" Length, 30 lb Line Tested, Black, Per 3

Two dollars for a three pack is really hard to beat. I've had a few issues with these leaders, but not enough to keep me from buying more. The thin wire used to secure the main wire can come undone and grab algae, I've had a couple of the crosslocks break after catching many fish/changing many lures, and the swivels aren't as fast as some of the other leaders I've used. I'd say the number of pike I've landed using these leaders, a couple of them being massive ND and Manitoba beasts, outweighs the few gripes I might have.

Only had a few leaders left so I ordered 2 packages of these. Pulled in a 15lb. Catfish the other day. I'll sure buy more of these. Thanks guys.

These are definitely strong and easy to cast! Much Better than those clunky silver ones that are more commonly used!

Best leaders ever. I fish for pike alot and these are great to have in my bag, no lost lures!

First off at $3.03 you can't go wrong with these leaders. The price was significantly lower than my local stores and Free Prime Shipping was so convenient.The build quality of these leaders is Excellent, they're strong and hold up well. My problem with these leaders is the Snap Hook assembly. The quick release mechanism on this leader is awkward to deal with and because of the sharp bend it can be difficult to insert some hooks onto this leader. I had no problem with spoons however some of my smaller jig heads were really difficult to impossible to slide onto this leader. For this reason I find it difficult to recommend and prefer the Southbend brand of leaders compared to the Berkley brand.Personally I wouldn't buy these again.
