It's not the best tasting matcha I've ever had, but the quality is certainly right for the price point. It's smooth and not super bitter.The real selling point of this though is that it dissolves in cold water with no clumps. I just drop a spoonful in, let it sit a bit, and then give it a few stirs and it's all good. I've had some issues with trying cold coconut milk and hot water though, but I may just be impatient.

I love tea but had never tried matcha. I know that different varieties, as well as the different brewing techniques, can give you a wonderfully smooth or not-so-wonderfully bitter cup of tea. So I did my research. Since I am a matcha newbie, I wanted to start with iced lattes. I also wanted an organic product that was cold water soluble...so I took my chances with Matcha Ninja. I put the matcha, almond milk, and stevia in a mason jar with a few ice cubes and gave it a good shake and the finished latte is cold, frothy, and fabulous. Going forward, I will sift the matcha before adding the milk (a recommendation I read from regular drinkers of a variety of brands) but forgot. I had just a little powder that did not completely incorporate but that is simple physics that can be remedied. Overall, I really like the smoothness and deep flavor this matcha (not at all bitter) and will be ordering again!

Absolutely love this matcha! I drink matcha lattes during the week instead of coffee and I think it makes a significant impact in my brain function for the days I'm at work. I LOVE coffee and happily drink it on the weekends but it definitely gives you a lot more up and down then matcha does. I appreciate the sourcing and quality of this matcha and the price is super reasonable. I first learned about Matcha Ninja from Amanda at The Organic Bunny. I wish the packaging was more sustainable, like maybe a glass jar but the resealable top keeps it super fresh and easy to travel with so that's a plus.

Love that this product is cold water soluble. I enjoy by mixing it with a little water, add ice and some frothed oat milk. It is refreshing and not chalky.

Delicious high grade matcha!

This matcha is the best, dissolves quickly and easily in cold or hot water and is super smooth. It is just the right amount of caffeine for an afternoon pick me up and tastes great.

Makes great matcha lattes iced or cold! Not grainy at all.

I have had ceremonial grade matcha that was absolutely delicious and a bright green color. But this one is very bitter and brownish green. Absolutely not ceremonial grade. I would not recommend this product to my worst enemy. Disgusting! Plus it’s non refundable!!! Scam as you can see in my picture the color of this matcha is the same as the cheap culinary elan brand. The one in the middle is delicious and real ceremonial grade.

Do not buy! This is not ceremonial matcha - the color was completely off (compared to my actually ceremonial matcha I bought previously) and it smells extremely fishy! You can just see from the color difference.

The color of this tea looks very much like the color of culinary grade, however, it does taste better than culinary grade, but not nearly as good as other ceremonial grades I've tasted. I'd say it's somewhere in the middle (probably closer to culinary grade).

This matcha is okay but I've had better. When I opened the bag I expected it to be far more vibrant in colour - it's almost a yellowy green. The taste is very mild, almost undetectable in my almond milk lattes, and I use a heaping matcha spoonful every time. It does whisk very nicely, no lumps whatsoever. But, I have my doubts as to whether or not this is ceremonial grade, I think it's a lesser grade. I would not repurchase.

I use a frother the blend (always cold). Blends well and is great tasting.
