Compared to the multi-bladed type this razor can take a little getting used to, but it's certainly effective once you've got the knack. It feels reassuringly heavy in the hand and seems quite robust, and is simple enough to prepare and use with the screw-down blade replacement operation. As well, there's a certain charm to what is undoubtedly a somewhat anachronistic-looking razor in today's world, something I'm always interested to see; the simple fact that it's of all-metal construction also makes it seem instantly higher-quality than the modern plastic ones. Coming ten replacement blades as well, the contents of this one pack should last for a good long time.

Package includes both the Safety Razor and a pack of Razors to use with it, if you have been considering swapping to using a safety razor, I would suggest buying this one to start, its not a rip off, its well made, and it gives a much better shave than disposable and cartridge razors

Getting used to a safety razor is obviously a bit of a learning curve. The razor itself is all metal and the finishing is good. It also comes with ten blades which should last a while!

This product needs instructions. It only works properly if it’s not screwed on tightly it has to wobble a bit to even think of getting any shaving done, and then you need to be careful because I was still able to cut myself even though it’s called a safety razor.

These safety razors are pretty good, and a lot better and overall cheaper than using standard razors that are not sharp enough and drag the skin.For currently £8.99 at the time of my review, this is on par with the ones I currently have.I have been using these types and my husband for about 10 years now.If you have never used one before, it is best to do a test piece first, to get the angle.I struggle a little as I am left handed so as per I am awkward holding razors.What I do like though and very rewarding, with the silver coloured razor comes ten blades, these will last weeks even months.One thing to note I always find these type razors are what I would term as the cheaper market, to buy a real good one these can cost around £50. However last years.The cheaper ones like these are great for everyday use, and anyone of age can use them. However over time, and not straight away, the head will start going round and round, and will not stay in place. Usually happens after about 6-8 months.Over the years I worked out overall these are a lot more cost effective than disposable razors, even if they only last a few months, disposable ones costs a lot. The shave is a lot more closer to the chin, legs, facial hair than disposable.Having blades come with the pack is good, the sharpness is excellent too. The smooth feeling is second to none.Nice also to show off in the bathroom as an accessory.I really love these razors. Blades can be bought cheaply on Amazon, I bought a 100 a couple of years ago, and still have them.I recommend this product because it is so much nicer to look at than any disposable. Great double edge safety razor and good quality, sharp it comes with 10 spare blades, this is stylish and it look like the old days but its great item to have it on my drawer, this is great value for the price as you can use it for life but just have to replace the blades.

I have always been a wet shaver so like to think I have tried most razors in the market place in the UK. I already have/had a similar razor (used daily) so was keen to try this.It is of the screw to open and close style (as razors used to be decades ago so the user must take great care when fitting the new blades. The blades themselves are flimsy and I prefer the branded ones I obtained from Amazon some months ago.I would not recommend this product.The handle is very short - such that the end fits within the palm of the hand and makes control very difficult, in my opinion, if the bloody first shave tells me anything! I cut myself many times and am now far mopre cautious. It is not a comfortable razor to hold and the angle required combined with the short handle makes this an exercise to be taken very slowly.
