Instructions stated to let the chair pads rest for 48 hours. at first, they were curved, but it really did take 48 hours to get fully plumped. there was no odd smells and the chair pads fit on my chairs. The texture of the cover is comfortable and the fact that i can take the cover off to clean is great. My only minor complaint is that the foam does crush, so the 2" thickness is required. I never got to the point i could actually feel the wooden chair, but, its close. I'm not super heavy, but i think 150 lbs is enough to squash the cushion to the max, so there is still cush. just noting that there is not a lot of cush. The pad plumps back up, so if you are not sitting too long, then you also may not notice anything. Since the texture of the cover is nice, with the remaining cush, its still a comfortable pad, but you probably want the front of the cushion to be at or a bit beyond the front of the chair seat.

These arrived vacuum sealed in plastic. (I wasn't expecting this, but I like it.) It took all night for them to regenerate to their proper size, but once they did, they were perfect. It's kind of hard to review a seat cushion (especially a charcoal grey one! ha) I will say this:1) Exactly as advertised2) Arrived in great packaging3) Fluffed out to the proper size4) Color is as expected5) About as comfortable as expected as well.

I wasn't expecting much based upon a past bad purchase of a memory foam pad for my office chair that was over $28+ for 1 with claims to help back pain, sciatic pain etc... so going in my expectations were realistic.... so when this exceeded my expectations, I was wowed. I didn't go for the puckered design, instead the flat surface chair pad. My dining room wood set has 6 chairs, so my plan was to just try the set of 4. The price is in line with comparable sets of 4, or the average price of just one. My theory is always something is better than nothing - so for any padding over the hard wood chair is an improvement, but this still exceeds just a basic improvement. I'm not claiming it is the softest or most comfortable for someone with back pain - but for the time sat at the table for each meal, for me this does the trick. I will buy a 2nd set to have 6, and then 2 extras for replacements for the heavily used chairs.

These char pads from Shinwah fit my Windsor style dining chairs nicely. They are curved along the back of the cushion to sit snugly into the curved back of the chair. They tie on and have grippy skid proof bottoms, so they do not flop around, even if you have ants in your pants! I picked up the brown option and they are neutral and go with the throw rugs in my kitchen/dining room. They arrive tightly rolled and vacuumed packed for easy shipping. Be sure to allow them to fully floof up before you tie them on and plant your bottom! Spot clean with a damp cloth or unzip and remove the cover for deeper cleaning. Overall, I am happy and now I wonder why I didn’t get these sooner!

I got these for my windsor chair shaped bar stools. They fit perfect with no overhang. The ties are easy to attach to the chair. They certainly make the wooden seats much more comfortable. Looks like they unzip for washing as well. The fabric has rich color and a soft texture. The bottoms have the little rubber dots to keep them from moving around.

The cushions are comfortable, they are a little small for my Windsor but my chairs are big. They have a non slip back that keeps them in place, the material is very nice

These are surprisingly comfortable and also did not smell as I expected them to. They were quite easy to put on our windsor chairs and for the most part, fit exactly in the spot that needed them. They stay in place when you go to sit on them. We started using them within 24 hours instead of the suggested 48 but they still seemed pretty comfortable and fully 'inflated' by then. Wish I'd bought this a while ago!
