Based on the description and other reviews I expected these to be a little thicker and sturdier than they are. They are thinner and more flexible or bendy than hoped for. In fact, one is even slightly warped, so that it doesn't sit perfectly flat on the ground. For what they are - large clear plant saucers in 12 inch size - they'll work fine.

These plastic plant saucers were surprisingly sturdy while still having some flexibility, not thin and brittle where it will crack if you bend it - like some of the cheap plastic saucers are from local garden centers. One minor manufacturing defect was that some of the saucers are not perfectly 'flat' but slightly wavy. However, I did not dock a star for this as in the intended application of these saucers they do sit flat (once a plant is on top of the saucer). Dimensions provided in product page are accurate (for 12" saucer, the diameter at the top is 12"), so for these 12" saucers, plant pots that are up to ~10" diameter at the bottom will fit.

Unlike the plastic drip trays you can buy from the big box stores, these are durable and do not get torn easily. These, I predict, will last a long time. Highly recommended!

It's almost fall and I want to bring some of my plants in for the winter instead of letting them die when the weather gets cold. We have a nice big sliding glass window in the kitchen that gets lots of eastern sun so it will be great for my plants. Unfortunately, we have hardwood floors in the kitchen so I needed good saucers to put under my flower pots to keep my plants hydrated in this dry climate and to protect my floors. These saucers are much sturdier than the flimsy clear plastic ones I've used in the past. They are simple and do the job. What more can you ask for?

These planter saucers are well made, stong and durable. I will be using them to protect my basement floor this winter when I bring in some planters that contain plants that would die if left to the harsh Minnesota winter. I have a small area that I've set up with timer grow lights and last year some of the planters leaked and stained the painted concrete floor...One thing to note about these saucers - they are translucent and not clear. That is fine with me but I thought it was worth mentioning for someone who will have them placed where true color makes a difference.Overall, these saucers get my seal of approval and a 5 star rating.

I like how these are a heavier plastic. Not something that will break too easily like the cheap thin ones I got from the garden store.

I don’t know how saucers got to be so expensive,but these are the exception. Nice and thick and attractively priced, these function like a thick ceramic saucer but a priced more like those flimsy plastic ones. They manage to be both lightweight and sturdy. Bravo!

The plant saucers are clear in color. They are very durable compared to the thin plastic saucers I’ve been buying. You definitely could use large heavy pots with these saucers. They will protect the surface under your potted plants. I have many on the carpet, so I’m thrilled to have these in my home now. I would definitely recommend these sauces. They are a very good quality plant saucer, and I’m very pleased with them.
