Excellent quality and very secure but super heavy!

Used this lock for a couple of years now and it has never let me down, perfect size to fit round near enough everything you would want/need to lock your bike to. Not the lightest of locks but solid build quality adds to the security and trust of the lock. Would recommend to anyone who frequently looks their bike up for long periods of time through out the day.

Quality D Lock, nice engineered key and precision made. Good Keyhole cover and well built lock. The additional cable is nice to have and helps those awkward times when your D lock just isn't long enough to secure the bike, and then cable can snake through rails and the bike stand to add that extra protection and security - Nice! Good solid design!

The top review for this item shows the lock having been cut through and the reviewer's bike stolen. Let's be perfectly clear: NOTHING WILL EVER get in between a thief with enough time, and your bike. Thicker shackles will take longer, and may require two cuts instead of one, but an angle grinder can eventually defeat any bike lock on the market. With that in mind, this offers adequate security as long as you have realistic expectations as for what a single bicycle lock can achieve. Thick enough shackle to resist bolt cutters? Check. Disc detainer lock that can't be picked with conventional tools? Check. It's good enough to stop your average druggie from clipping the lock and running, and to make the average thief at least look for easier targets before risking taking an angle grinder to yours. I've had this lock for about 8 months now. It had a bit of a learning curve - sometimes the discs inside the lock get mis-aligned and I have to jiggle the key to rotate them all left before the key will turn properly, but after a few weeks it became second nature to unlock and set it every time I went to the shops. It has never once seized on me, or otherwise not worked as it should. I'd highly recommend this lock. If you want more protection, consider getting a thicker shackled lock, or two of these, or one of these and a hefty chain lock too.

I bought this lock after doing some research, and I'm really impressed with its durability. The steel cable adds an extra layer of security, which I appreciate. I also like the frame-mounted bracket—it rotates 360°, so you can adjust it to the most convenient angle. I chose to mount it on the rear triangle of the bike frame, and it fits perfectly without interfering with the bottle cage space. Its light enough when i consider regular ebike weights.

My first ever Kryptonite product and I am INLOVE. I've got 2 (race bike and a dutch bike) of my bikes stolen and 1 (mountain bike) destroyed to pulp, but with these locks nothing has happened to my new race bike so far. The frame mount is super nifty and cord gives me a lot of peace in my mind HAHA I have zero complaints! I've had a handful of moments where I was unable to open the lock due to its locking mechanism, but that's probably just a skill issue. And! Just a headsup, these are susceptible to rusting so remember to keep the keyhole closed ;)

Great U lock Shame it did come with a chain lock instead of this Cable lock (which is easy for bolt cutters to get through) I was after a wide U Lock for my Fat tyre Ebike (Tricycle) but this lock is too small but is great as an extension of my Abus flexible lock to lock up to Poles ECT Probably a Two wheel bike would have no problems with using this size U lock but my Fat Tyre Tricycle Ebike to fat for it (which is a shame)
