This kite isn't the cheapest one available (or it wasn't when I bought it - I paid £12.99) but it's worth paying a little extra for it. The colour way (butterflies) is exactly as in the listing and looks great. It comes in a durable pocket sized bag with a zip. Most importantly, it flies brilliantly. You just throw it into the air, let the string unwind a bit and then you can hand the string over to a small child to play with - easy. I take this to the beach when it's just me and my 3 and 5 year olds and it always flies, even with the children helping. I saw another review saying that the tails were too long but I haven't found that. I think the tails probably help keep it stable so that it flies so reliably.

Easy to set up and flies well in a breeze. In light winds it has a tendency to fold. No solid parts so safe to fly with people about. My 2 grandchildren love it.

Great for young children. Fuss free, nice flyer, ideal for kids just starting out in the world of kite flying. My 3year old loves it!

We bought this for my grand daughter, aged 6, after a rather frustrating experience with a stunt kite. We took it to the beach in St Andrews yesterday, with great success. It was quite "blowy" but also gusty and the kite was easy to fly. The string was a good length and we never let reached its limit. My grand-daughter then decided to go for a swim. Such a shame as Grannee was left flying a kite :) Great fun and not done that in years!

Second best kite we ever had! My 9yo loves it, but reven a 4yo can fly it. Really easy to fly. It tends to spin sometimes and you will regularly have to un-spin the string, but it only takes a minute.

I've owned various stunt and power kites and thought it was about time my little one got her first kite too. I bought this so we could easily keep it in a backpack and use it when out and about. I've not been disappointed. Its a really good first kite: great flyer and really easy for a toddler to use.
