Perfect for home projects
Recently we used this sprayer, my husband was skeptical because it wasn't a named brand paint sprayer but once I finished the first wall, he was as delighted as I was.The sprayer works well, it has a bit of an overspray but the directional valves work well, good coverage but its not very pinpoint so dont look for that.Light weight, great for smaller hands, not to heavy and it doesn't get warm to the touch for at least 30 mins.I was able to mix paint with some glitter and metallics and WOW, it worked great.A tip: Use a straw cleaner to clean out the paint feeder tube under the cap that leads to the sprayer. I found a surprising amount of paint in that tube that would have dried solid even after I had soaked it in water for an hour after use had I not pulled it out with the bristled metal straw cleaner. I was glad I could pull it out and keep using my new paint sprayer. I recommend this item for home use and for women or young people doing their first paint spraying projects. We will purchase another for wood stain, soon.Truly,Mrs. T. Clark

Splatters , does not spray evenly. LOUD
Did not work at all. Made a loud noise and splattered paint instead of spraying. Tried to use it to paint our basement ceiling to maybe this only works painting walls and is unable to be tilted to paint ceilings? Awful results. Threw away since it was dirty with paint after trying it- sort of impossible to return after using it.

So far, it's been flawless...
Not professional painter here, just needed to re-paint my picket fence; it did a great job. It took around an hour. But now what do I do with it?... that's the real question. Probably put it up on a shelf in the garage where it will collect dust for the next 10 years, haha! Or sell it in a yard sale someday; hmmm. Anyway, it saved a lot of time over using a paintbrush.

Good for the price
For a very cheap sprayer I was impressed. Initially there were a few splatters, but after a second or two it settled in to a good spray. Paint cup is a bit small but only a minor inconvenience. UPDATE: Well, maybe not. worked okay first use. Cleaned it thoroughly, or thought I did. But second time around, it would not spray at all. Cleaned again, oiled, and finally changed nozzles. Sprayed (same paint) for a couple of seconds and then went to spit mode. Try as I might, could never get it to spray again.

Also in order to get better result, use several thin coat is much better ...
It works well once you figure out how to set it up properly. First filter the paint!! There are a lot of 'debris' in a fresh can of paint, which clog the sprayer if not removed. After each use take off the tip and clean inside too. Also in order to get better result, use several thin coat is much better than one thick coat. I used it on my fence. Result is beyond my expectation.

Greatest purchase I made for my needs
Greatest purchase I made for my needs! I spray stained a picnic table and an air conditioner surround. It doesn't hold much and I had to refill often, but if it was any bigger it would not be as easy to maneuver. It cleaned easily. I am done painting for now but plan to use it on a door in the near future.

...you get what ya pay for (ie: not much)
well, at under 30 bucks..you get exactly what you pay for.The good: easy to get going and use, fill, adjust and go.The not so good: The pattern is more of a pulse spit/splatter than an actual "spray". If you are used to "air" sprayer or higher end electric, this will disappoint you.Very inconsistent in quantity of coverage. Cup holds very little and the unit even on lowest setting is a paint hog. The suction straw, adding insult to injury, doesnt even come close to reaching the bottom of the cup, so the cup makes use of even less actual quantity then the small size already limits you to..meaning you will get very little painted before its time to full up again. I managed to squeek out a single coat on a 8x8 wall before needing to refil :/ By comparision, my wagner wou;d paint half the house in 1 cup..*The unit will NOT paint on anything but by being held straight and level, tilt it down or up and it will not paint!Unit is a touch on the loud side noise wise. Its also very messy unit, the cup leaks if slightly tipped, the nozzle gets seriously messy, as does your hands, the gun itself, etc. I contribute this to the pulse splatter type of dispersment.Good for $30 as a cheap use once, then throw away. You will NOT get professional results or high quality unit or even close with this.Sad to say, I would not buy again..better money could be spent buying a much better unit.
