This item arrived well packaged and protected. Set up was a simple matter of removing it the the packaging, putting in a 13 gallon kitchen trash bag and placing the item where I wanted it. Nothing could have been easier. The foot pedal activated lid moves smoothly and quietly with no last second slam upon closing. I like the size of the trash can, as well as the color of silver stainless steel finish. The trash can is substantial so it won't accidentally move during use. Mine is brand new so I can't speak to longevity or value over time, but it appears to be good quality so I am hopeful of many years of problem free use.

This trash can is the truth! It has every feature you could want/ask for except 1: doesn't have a spot to hold extra bags, but that's okay because those compartments usually add to the dimensions(size) of the trash bin. This sits pretty flush with the wall, looks fantastic, easy to operate. I've had mine for some time now and it works flawlessly. It's real easy to clean, just wipe with a damp cloth. I really love this bin.

Wonderful trash can! Simple to use and doesn’t run on batteries so you can just lift lid with a press of your foot. The lid won’t slam because it’s slow closing. You can select different sizes and colors but I must say the stainless steel is my favorite!

Exactly as described. It is perfect for my kitchen. It is definitely smudge proof.
