Alpha-HMelting Moment Cleansing Balm

Such a great facewash. It has a mild orange scent and a slight pumice texture to it so leaves your skin soft and clean.It comes packaged well and has a nice look to it. I have sensitive skin and am prone to dry/red spots from more aggressive face washes. This has given me zero issue in the last few weeks of use.

The Alpha H | melting moment cleansing balm was a delight to review. This balm to oil cleanser is packed with nourishing ingredients and essential oils to help break down and melt away your makeup, SPF, and any grime left on your face at the end of the day. It's made in Australia.It does a fantastic job at removing makeup and SPF. Once you begin rubbing it into your skin, it melts into an oil, binding all the makeup with it. Once you've massaged it in well, you simply rinse off with warm water. Some people like to follow up with their regular cleanser after using a balm, and I'm one of those people. However, I'm not entirely sure it's necessary with this product.After using, I soaked a cotton round with micellar water to see if any more makeup would come off- and there was literally nothing left. I only double cleanse because I don't want the oil sitting on my face all night. Water alone does not remove it all.This balm has no added fragrance, but is lightly scented due to the essential oils. It's a lovely, earthy, orange peel scent.My skin does not always like cleansing balms, but I can say that this one did play well with my fickle skin. I did not experience any irritation or breakouts after using it. It left my skin feeling very clean and was not drying. This jar should last quite a long time, as it takes very little to cover your face.If you're looking to try a new cleansing balm, I vouch for this one. It really does it's job!

This Alpha-H | Melting Moment Cleansing Balm is actually in a cream form and it spreads well once it touches and melts on the skin. It cleanses very well, and leaves the skin soft like butter. The only thing stopped me using this on every makeup days could be the high cost. However, this is a large 3oz jar and a little goes a long way. I would definitely recommend this for people who needs to put on heavy makeup yet want to pamper their skin when taking it off.

This is a very nice cleansing balm, that feels nice massaged into my skin, and leaves my skin soft and clean after rinsing it off. There’s no added fragrance, and you just get a nice clean ingredient smell as you use it. I’ve used Korean cleansing balms in the past, and I feel that this product is comparable. I can’t say that I feel that I get a better user experience with this balm than balms I’ve used in the past, though, and this is definitely a higher priced version. And as a bit of a lazy person, I have to say that I would prefer a squeeze tube to a jar, so that I can leave this in the shower for easy use. Otherwise I have to put it on and massage my face before I get into the shower, and deal with slimy hands trying to open the shower door. Or I have to rinse my hands before getting into the shower. Either way, it just feels like an extra couple of steps that I would rather skip at the end of a day when I’m tired. But overall, it is a nice product that does break down the products on my face that are waterproof or water resistant, for a fresh feeling clean.

Buttery texture - I don’t need a lot just a 5 cent size is enough to remove all my makeup.After rinsing my skin doesn’t feel dry.Will continue using and probably get again.

Why is this interesting? Well the presentation was a little questionable. Kind of came in crapped up. It left my face feeling like there was a film on it and I’d rather just use a makeup wipe to remove makeup rather than put this on and then have to wipe it off.

This dreamy, creamy orange-scented cleanser feels so nice on my skin. I am a fan of oil-based cleansers. They do a great job removing makeup while not stripping skin of its natural moisture barrier. This particular cleanser has a great texture. It feels nourishing and smells pleasant. It does a great job cleaning all my makeup, especially my eye makeup. It contains some great ingredients, but it also contains a high percentage of hydrogenated vegetable oil, which I don't have a problem using on my skin, but the label doesn't clarify which vegetable oil is the base. I'mhoping it's noncomdogenic, but so far I haven't had any breakouts or negative reactions. Other than the clear sticker seal on the outside of the box, this doesn't have any additional sealing. In addition, I couldn't find a best by date to help me know what the shelf life of this product might be. Overall, this is effective and smells and feels really nice.

Is this stuff expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? YES! Absolutely yes. I had no idea what I was missing out on. This cleansing balm is fantastic. Smells amazing, and goes on so well. I was nervous when first trying, because it feels like you're applying coconut oil to your face. Had some concerns that it would be hard to wash off. Not the case at all. Make up just melts away, and it completely removed ALL traces of my eye makeup. Something that is hard to achieve even with vigorous scrubbing at times. I like to rinse it off with a warm washcloth. There is zero oily residue left behind. My skin is soft, moisturized, and has a beautiful glow to it. The perfect way to end a long day with a full face of makeup. I'm hooked.
