Description

Blade Runner XL goggles by Edge Tactical Safety Eyewear, featuring ballistically tested, triple anti-scratch tinted G-15 polycarbonate lenses with unique Vapor Shield anti-fog technology. Blade Runner XL lenses are tested to EN166 F CE, ANSI Z87.1 + 2015 and MCEPS (Military Combat Eye Protection Systems) GL-PD 10-12. The lenses filter 99.9% of UVA/UVB/UVC radiation. The wrap-around frame with rubberised temple ends is made of indestructible TR-90 nylon polyamide, tested according to EN166 S CE. The frame of the XL is approx. 150 mm. 22mm wider than the standard frame. Edge Vapor Shield Technology: The unique Edge Vapor Shield anti-fog technology is incorporated directly into the polycarbonate lenses, providing permanent anti-fog protection, outside and inside! With conventional glasses, the anti-fog technology is only applied on one side and loses its effect due to wear and must be renewed by anti-fog spray or cloths. G-15 Lenses: the US Air Force developed the special G-15 technology in the 1950s. Through extensive experiments with the light spectrum, it was found that the transmission of green and yellow light could be maximised at 550 nanometers (the two colours best perceived by the human eye). The result is a neutral and life-like perspective with high contrast and image sharpness. The G-15 lenses have a light transmission of 15% and filter 99.9% UVA/UVB/UVC rays. You're gonna love these sunglasses. A balance fit that is snug around the ears without squeezing your temples and over extending the arms on either side. I'm even thinking of purchasing a second pair with the polarized lenses for driving. Though the RayBan style sunglasses is the latest style to be recycled and is very popular, I much prefer the sunglasses inspired by active lifestyle (e.g. surf, beach, hiking, tactical, etc). I have seen very few sunglasses co and sunglasses vendors cater to individuals with large heads... particularly the walk in stores.
