We have two of these now, because one was always being borrowed and ending up in the wrong room. You can pay a lot of money for a well-designed sharpener, but this is affordable and superb at its job. Simple.

Don’t waste your money on anything else! This is hands down the best sharpener I have had! Weighty brass makes a substantial weight in the hand adding to the quality feel. The knurled sides are grippy and the blade gives a perfectly sharp pencil.

I'm very pleased with this as it works well and is carried easily. However, as a constant loser of things from my pockets, I feel it would have been nice for it to have some way of attaching a string or something.

I lost my original one of these sharpeners, it is so brilliant I ordered it again. Sharpens good quality pencils, including coloured pencils, to a good point. Worth the money. I'm going to try not to loose this one!

Yup, felt very stupid spending so much on a pencil sharpner but it was worth it. Lovely solid sharpner that works well. You could probably use it in self defence if pushed.

It's lovely to hold, heavy in the hand and sharpens your pencils beautifully. The antidote to all the cheap plastic rubbish out there. I had something similar when I was a child. Give this to a twelve year old boy as a gift and he'll love it!
