Very Comfortable
Arrive in a plain card box. Nothing impressive there!I often wonder why these are called "wide", since that's not really what they are. The so called toe-box is roomy, but the rest of the shoe, in particular the heel-width, is normal.Anyway, if you haven't tried this type of "barefoot" fit then they are extremely comfortable. The heel is of course low, the sole very flexible. The difference between these and the so call beach shoes, is that these have thicker sole and no holes- so they are waterproof. Having said that, the tops are just a canvas type material, which is not even slightly waterproof. The fit is accurate. I am normally a 10.5, but bought an 11. They are slightly too big, so I am guessing they are accurate. Certainly the extra room is not a problem and could easily be taken up with a thicker pair of socks. They do seem very over-priced. Although well made, I just can't believe they are expensive to make.Recommended.

Damn snappy, wot wot?
I like this shoes. I really like them. They remind me of a great pair of Vivobarefoot trainers a friend gave me once which I'd buy, except they cost about 5 times as much. They're super super comfortable. A big wide foot box, lovely zero drop over the sole, but a nice bit of warm cozy padding too. But! – in the view of this old fart who's not grown up, and I'm sure your milage will vary or I'm just wrong – they're damnably sharp and snappy too boot. They look like they're going to hold up to usage. I expect at least a year of daily ware from a pair of shoes. I'll try to write an update if these pass or fail on that.

Not convinced but I like them
They are very light and comfortable in the was a house slipper is. They are wide too which is what I expected. They aren’t as robust as I had hoped but good for driving and they fit ok.

Love!
great affordable introduction into ‘barefoot’ shoes. I’ve had these for a few months now and they still look brand new. They seem to be good quality and so comfortable. Will definitely be getting some different colours.

Good quality and very comfortable.
I've now had these a few weeks. My initial thoughts were, they were comfortable and fit well in what seems like a quality shoe. The more I wear the shoes the more I appreciate their comfort and feel. If you are looking for a minimalistic shoe and don't want to pay double plus the money then these are what you want. True to size.

Good and wide fitting but quite flimsy
The wide fit for my feet was really good and comfortable, no side pinching that I would have with even a size up of normal footwear. I measure UK 7.5 size and extra wide (I measure 2V,4E = 256mm around widest point), so I took a size UK 8/EU42 to be sure they would fit with thicker socks etc. So no problem with enough width room, and being lace up you have adjustment. They are very comfy with flat removeable foam insoles, for reference there is no arch bump support at all. I have tried putting arch support insoles in and they are roomy enough to allow that, but the heal of the shoe is quite low at the back so if you used a high heal insole/footbed it may be an issue. My overall opinion of these made in China shoes is that they are expensive for what they are, when you compare with a lace up pair of pumps or slippers which is basically what they are. The soles are only like you would get on thin rubber slippers, and the uppers are just an open weave man made canvas which you can feel the air through as you walk.... so not really something you would consider for a wet UK climate outdoors, ok in dry sunny weather or driving but not much else. Not really worth the money at all (probably twice or three times what they are worth) but I have no real choice with really wide feet unless you spend a fortune, so these are just about ok for light duty on flat dry ground or indoors, absolutely no good for wet weather or rough stoned paths etc.

Great comfort, but buy other laces
I love the fit on these, no more squashed toes. That said the laces come undone constantly so invest in a new set of laces for them.

Comfortable and do the job
I ordered these as I need a dark pair of shoes for work. Since hearing about all the benefits of barefoot shoes I've only bought myself top-branded barefoot shoes the last few years. However, finances are tighter than they have been and normal barefoot shoes are expensive so decided to purchase these.... and they actually fit the bill really well. They're comfortable, and actually quite warm (I've found other barefoot style can be a bit chillsome with their lack of thicker soles). The reason I've given 4 stars and not 5 is more for aesthetic reasons. They do seem a bit clumpy to me and stitching looks like it might not stay for an amazing amount of time, but they are considerably cheaper than other barefoot shoes so I was expecting this. As a summary I'm pretty sure that they'll be ideal for what I need them for.Size wise - they were spot on for me.
