Suma Organic Figs 2.5 kg

I am not a expert on figs so cannot really compare these to other figs but as far as I can tell they are far cheaper than the shops and very tasty.My only complaint is that because they are so tasty I scoffed the lot in only a couple of days and had to order some more! Suma have a larger 2.5 kg bag of figs if you're interested.Something I learned the hard way is that figs are an aphrodisiac and mild laxative, if you eat loads in one go strange things are gonna happen, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

I've had three packs of these, bought in successive months. The first pack was fine, the second very poor (the figs were over-dry and tasteless); unfortunately I wasn't in time to cancel the third pack (Subscribe & Save order) and these, too, were dry and tasteless. I haven't even been able to use the figs after soaking them, so 2 kilograms have been wasted by going into the compost.

The quality began well and continued so for 2 months; then each monthly batch became less and less in quality. Now they are not edible - why?- the figs, on arrival,are now very small, dry, hard, unripe(?) and an increasing percentage are bad-tasting (if you can even get your teeth into them!). These must have been harvested at wrong time and/or stored far too long!

Large, tasty dried figs which are very convenient for a quick healthy snack. The centres are slightly moist while the skins are firm and chewy. Certainly not squidgy like the ones I've bought from the supermarkets with all their extra added ingredients. I think they're very nice, and I'm pleased to think they are organic without all the nasties.

I had bought the Suma 1 kg bag of figs and because they were so tasty I ate the lot in only a couple of days and had to buy some more, then I discovered this 2.5 kg bag...AWESOME!The country of origin seems to have changed lately and there is a slight difference in taste but they are still soft sweet and very tasty.If you're gonna eat loads of figs in one go be careful, figs are a aphrodisiac and mild laxative, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

I add them to my morning breakfast cereal, unfortunately these are a whitish colour and extremely dry, I would think possibly more suitable for cake or pudding making. Much too dry to eat as a snack. Very disappointed.

A good product with a delicious taste. Soft and succulent.

It's very good for the price. Some figs are not 100% perfect, but I can live with it.
