Solid ladder
Have used this several times, since we lifted our truck. Great product, does make the tailgate heavier though. The only dislike, it gets in the way of getting things out of the bed of the truck.

Questionable Design, Inexcusable Execution
I can’t even fathom why the designer of this product would ever think it was a good idea to use a thin metal lazy susan as the rotation mechanism here. It literally is the single point on the whole contraption that undergoes the highest stresses from numerous angles. No way this lasts for more than a couple uses. It’s already flexing and creaking just spinning without having the ladder unfolded and no load on it. It is absolutely going to fail at the worst time placing whoever is on the ladder in serious danger.Yet that’s somehow not even the worst part of this. Apparently they needed the round tubes on the ladder to be a couple inches longer. Rather than spec the appropriate length tube, they instead tried to weld a short section of tube on the ends. Ok, fine, whatever. Except whoever welded it has clearly never welded in their life, since both welds burned through the tube, pitted the material surrounding the burned through hole, and just slapped some paint on the dangerously weakened tubes. So sooner or later (definitely sooner), the ends of the ladder tube are going to snap right off. I can only hope whoever is on the ladder doesn’t end up impaled on the jagged end of whatever is left after the ends snap off.I just can’t even.

Installs easily
It took me 10 minutes. It comes with the drill bit and the nut driver.

Absolutely Horrible quality !?
I'm no small guy by any means (300lbs) but my daughter (102 lbs) steps foot on it to try it out and the ladder completely started contorting and swiveling while locked in place !!! No excuse for such crappy quality returning immediately. DO NOT BUY
