Dear buyer, Thank you for your purchase. Do you have any questions about BBQ Gloves? These heat-resistant gloves are lined with thick inside, which can slow the temperature rise effectively.

Q: would these let me carry the handles of a hog roast tray, from the machine to the serving table. holding the handles for aprox 5 minutes

Unfortunately I would not be able to give you a definite answer because I would not know the temperature of the hog roast tin. I have been using these gloves for handling baking stones and tins when making sourdough bread: the oven temperature has been set at 230 c. I have found them reasonably effective, but, only handle the hot tins for less than a minute - I could not vouch for the 5 minutes that you are enquiring about.

Q: Can you use these gloves with steak stones?

These Grill Gloves are heat resistant up to 932 ℉. It should be no problem using with steak stone.Please do not touch super high temperature or open frames for a long time.
