A Reliable Beast!
I ordered this coin sorter to help count donations from a penny-wars campaign we did in the local schools: we raised over $2400, mostly in coins--and counting by hand was taking FOREVER! Each classroom's coin jar was taking an hour to count!! This counter is not lightning fast--but it tripled the counting speed--it went through three jars each hour on average. We used it for 3-4 hours at a time--pausing for a few minutes between each jar--but it ran like clockwork and almost never jammed. we loved the fact that it keeps track of how many of each coin have run through the counter, and that you can set a number for each coin denomination after which the machine will pause (we used 300--which would mostly fill the bin, but not allow any overflows. It isn't cheap--but it ran like a beast, and we've now used it for some additional fundraisers. Still running strong. It's also not lightning fast--but it significantly improves counting times, and the feeding chute is large enough that it runs for a good five to ten minutes without having to be constantly tended. It also accepts coins that are gummed up and chewed up--which means you don't have to constantly clear jams--but that may also mean that your bank may not accept every single coin it counts. Given the volume of coins we went through, we had several pounds of coins (probably 20-40 dollars) that the bank would not accept--but when you're counting out $2,400 in coins (mostly pennies!), we at least had an idea of what we were taking to the bank before we went through the door with a cart full of change.

Great product
Tried so many others. This is by far the best. Easy to use and saves time! I ran over 500 coins first night. Zero problems!

Time Saver!
This coin counter definitely is a good investment if you deal with coins often. I bought this for my small business and have been using it every night to sort the tip jar. I no longer have to count each coin by hand which saves me a lot of time each night. The coin counter is accurate, quick and quiet. I like how you're able to choose different batches for each coin and once it reaches the amount the counter will stop until you empty the slot. So far its been running smoothly and no problem with coins getting jammed. Very pleased with this purchase.

The First That Works and Reliably
Great money counter, - works as described and is the first that we have used in our coffee house that does not jam or mess up after a couple of weeks. I have not given 5 stars because the ability to have tubes of coins would be a plus - nevertheless, we have found this product to be robust and effective - whereas others we have tried at a similar price point have been pretty annoying after a few weeks. Its worth pointing out that we use this every day more than once and count hundreds of coins at a time - it does not seem to worry about being filled up and working its way through a large number of coins at once.

It works!
Used it 4 times just to see the counts were accurate or not, it tends to be off until the last 2 times were right. However, I got this thing as "Used" when really, it must've been nvr been used bc of the box and another box were damaged on the side of it but it didn't affect the machine. So I'm happy about that. This will be very useful for me to use it when working for my seasonal job as a lead supervisor again. However, we are NOT going to count Pennies this yr so that will be interesting and also NOT going to give out Pennies.

Loved the Digital Read Out Feature
I used this for an elementary school fundraiser so you can imagine the kinds of things that a got mixed in with the coins. I needed to keep track of how mush each class brought in on a daily basis for tow weeks. The digital counting feature worked like charm. Usage Tip: After a 15 or so hours worth of heavy use it does need to be cleaned out...it still seemed to be working until I noticed it was starting to count nickels as quarters. Just keep an eye on that. If it starts to spit coins into the wrong bins it isn't broken, it just needs a cleaning. It was a little noisy to to run, but that was a small price to pay since it saved me hours and hours of counting by hand! Best purchase of the school year.

Well worth it.
Purchased this unit 6-7 months ago. Had trouble with the initial one that i was sent. Returned that one and received another one. Tested it and it works fine. The rest of my co-workers were skeptical of it because they had never used a automatic coin counter before. Now they swear by it. My boss uses it to count our hotels deposits. Both of my supervisors use it to count their banks. Our front desk agents use it when they are in a hurry to leave. It counts accurately every time! At the same time that i purchased this machine i also purchased a Cummins Jetscan currency discriminator. The coin counter every one trusts. The currency counter hardly anyone uses. Believe me the Cassida name may not be well known but this product does work and it work well!

Would Love to See Quality Improve
We’ve been using this type of Cassida C100 Coin Counter in our business since 2013. Over the years, we’ve had to replace it every couple of years. Within the last eight months, we had to send one back because the counting and LED display started malfunctioning. Unfortunately, the replacement unit is now having problems as well. Coins are getting stuck between the frame opening that feeds into the counter’s turntable and the frame of the spin wheel that distributes the coins into the sorting area. From past experience, we know not to overfill the reservoir, so that isn’t the issue. A new device that’s used at most once a week really shouldn’t be failing like this. While it’s a simple machine to use and the accuracy is about 98% most of the time, I would only recommend it if the overall build quality were improved. Two machines failing within six months isn’t the level of reliability we had come to expect based on our earlier experiences.
