Fotoconic Pro 10 Feet/3M Aluminum Alloy 3 Section Telescopic Background Support Cross Arm Crossbar (Black)

Primarily used as a backup crossbar. I have a four section cross bar that I have in a carry case along with all of my tripods but I keep the telescopic one in the car in case I might need it. Did have one before and these work great, never had any issues with it, gave it to my Daughter-in-law and replaced it with a new one. Well built, great quality and I don't extend it all the way, I leave it short by about a foot (six inches on both sides) to avoid any possible sagging.

I received exactly what I ordered with much better manufacturing than I expected.

Amazing price - works like a charm. Others have noted it may sag in the middle when fully extended, but I have not experienced that at all. (This item may not be adequate for 9'/10'+ paper rolls without a heavy core.) So far, I have only used it with my wrinkle-free backgrounds which are lighter than my heavier muslin type backgrounds. I do have another much heavier and more expensive crossbar which I use with the heavier backgrounds, but even with that crossbar there is always a slight sag in the middle. When I purchased this item, my thoughts were, "If it sags a little, so what?" That's kind of normal, and certainly harmless.

These crossbar works perfectly with BESNFOTO Carbon Fiber Light Stand Tripod. Very lite weight and easy up for my quilt displays.

Obviously, I also use stands attached to my desktop, clamps, and extenders. It does what it's supposed to. It can also hold key lights and other whatnot. It is sturdy. My only complaint is that the female sockets don't support my swivel-head male counterparts, so I had to strip them to make them fit. My guess is the thread pitch or count is off, or maybe it's not metric. I trust, however, that this will support the weight I impose on it.

It does bow in the middle, but still over all pretty sturdy. Wouldn't trust it with anything beyond 7 fee however!

I already had some high dollar stands so wasn't sure how this support crass arm would work. It fit and works perfectly.

Love the sturdiness of this stand. I'm a photographer and do a lot of indoor studio photos. Some backdrops are heavier and need more support. The legs are heavier and doesn't take up as much space like the tripod stands. Like that the rods extend to 10 feet for my bigger backdrops and comes with handy carrying case!
