Proved me wrong
I have a compulsion to avoid anything that is "re-conditioned" or repaired. However, being in desperate need of large scale storage I bit back on my nervousness and ordered one of these. I was quite surprised when it arrived neatly packaged like a new drive. Plugging in my system found it immediately and after a short while formatting, it was available for use. Since then, this has been in daily use and has proven me wrong in my belief that re-con is just a by-word for cack. This drive has been stable, fast and reliable since I plugged it in, with no trouble, glitches, hiccups or any problems that I have noticed thus far. When I need a new one next year, I will definitely be looking at this brand again. I do so enjoy when I'm proved wrong, it's rather refreshing and pleasant.Delivery was quick, the product was well wrapped and protected and arrived in perfect condition, not even dinks in the box; and that is rare these days. Decent price and reliable equipment. It is not often that can be claimed even by new branded goods.

one hdd failed immediately, second one had bad sectors
Ordered 2 x 16TB, first one failed within the first 8 hours, second one had bad sectors one hour in.Definitely not a good choice for NAS storage, there is no way the HDDs were checked and healthy before shipped. Save yourselves the return.

DOA
Arrived in an antistatic bag dropped into a jiffy bag. This is a terrible way to ship a HDD. Naturally, it was dead on arrival. After running crystal disk mark, it showed that the power on time hour counter had been reset to zero. Only giving three stars as I don't know if it would have been a good drive if it had survived the journey.
