A healthy dose of clean humor
Humor is always more enjoyable when you have someone to share it with and who gets your sense of humor... and that's exactly why I enjoyed this book. The corny jokes, the slap stick comedy left me with a smile on my face. Just my kind of book!

Lighthearted fun escape!
I knew I'd enjoy a story that was dedicated "For Dads and the people who love their jokes. :)"Love at Second Sight is a sweet story with laugh out loud moments and the groaning that comes with Dad jokes! I thoroughly enjoyed my first book by Liwen Y. Ho."The red-and-orange-streaked sky serves as a picture-perfect backdrop for Brad as he exits his car. After a quick look both ways, he jogs across the empty road with the finesse and agility of an action hero." Brad Bitt, best friend of Cassie's deceased husband Will is an extrovert and a famous actor, and has been looking in on Cassie and her son for the last three years since Will died."Then there’s me, Cassandra Amanda Miranda-" Cassie, or Cam as Brad calls her, is a definite introvert. She loves her evenings at home and her sweatpants. "I wasn't kidding about relying on humor to get me through the tough times." Her Friday nights consist of Hugh Grant romantic comedies.Cassie's husband Will left letters for both Cassie and Brad to be opened three years after his death. He asks Brad to help Cassie practice dating again. And from the the humorous journey begins!A light hearted, funny, escape with a dose of faith! I look forward to more stories by this author.

delightful
I loved this book! It’s nice to see somebody riding about single ladies, my age. The humor, the memories and the romance were all worth it.

PG 13 clean romance
Cute and funny, almost slapstick silly but still close to believable. The Christian references are appropriate and not overdone in this light, enjoyable story..

Letters from the past
Cassie is a young widow with a son. Before her deceased husband, Will, died, he wrote a letter to his wife and asked that his best friend, Brad, deliver it 3 years after his death. Brad also received a letter. The letters ask them to "practice" dating each other so they move on from his death and open themselves up to love once more. A quick and sweet read.

Kinda over the top cheesy
Cute storyline. Clean romance. Humor is nice. I warmed to the characters. BUT Too predictable. Hero is pretty unbelievable, not in a good way.

Fun read
Good clean read, and a reminder that we don't have to be the same to be well matched, nor is love limited to the young. Loved all the introvert quotes.
