Read before you look at 1 stars
I've read all the complaints on these and to be honest ignore themFirstly there is a plastic film on the chrome. Remove this. There is a plastic shim that takes up the slack between the poles. Use this as it's important.. the 2 brackets are more than enough if you use the shim. The diamond ends fit on perfectly. I'm assuming people are trying to fit them over the shim lol.

A wonderful make, extremely pleased, every time!
I’ve bought this make several times before in antique brass and been very pleased with the chic look and super quality. I wasn’t disappointed with this one in brushed nickel. It too looks more expensive than it was, excellent value. The finials aren’t overly large but in my bedroom they are a lovely size and go well with my crystal light shade. Who cares that they aren’t actually crystal. I have bought Swish pole and crystal finials, way way more expensive, and after a month or so and a little dust, there’s no visible difference. The lightweight curtains glide well on the pole, and so did my floor length heavier dining room curtains at my old house. Some reviews mentioned the finial being loose. Maybe they put one on the wrong end! Because one end of the pole slides inside the other to extend, then one end is a slightly smaller diameter than the other and likewise one finial compared with the other. I found they then fit perfectly and what’s more, they stay on! Would definitely buy this make time over.

Very stylish item to help brighten a room up, came packaged in the most professional box which I’d expect from a £100 plus product. Important to note that you need to take the film off as I’ve seen some reviews say it’s dull in colour.... also I can confirm there are three backets, therefore they provide the middle support!

Acrylic not Crystal.
Acrylic not Crystal.A third bracket is required (not present) in order to support the centre of the 120cm-210cm pole when being used at it's full extendable length Or it will bow, even buckle (where the two separate pieces slot in together in the middle) under the weight of curtains any heavier than that of net/voile/very lightweight unlined curtains. Unless pole is being used at a much lesser length. Not what I had expected at all. I had to purchase a third centre support bracket to have any use for this pole, albeit temporarily until I purchase a better one that will supply a third bracket as optional like extendable curtain poles do... I would like to know why it was that the bag within my poles package that contained the accessories was already torn into?!.. Surely it wasn't for the purpose of actually removing the third optional bracket =/ because only the bracket was gone and not it's wall plug and screw, lol. Seller argues "No". My question is this, if a third bracket is required for a pole that is 165cms-300cms then why would a third bracket not be required for a pole that is between 165cms-300cms when at it's extended length of 210cms Or is my logic flawed o0. Something isn't adding up with this seller and I won't be purchasing from them again. Thank you but, No thank you.

Beautiful quality but you may need to buy extra brackets and rings
I bought the 120 - 210 cm size, our window is 170, when we put it up the pole sagged in the middle as only two brackets are supplied for this size of pole as advertised and we hadn’t even put the curtains on the pole. You can buy extra brackets, however you only find this out when you open the instructions they cost £4.99 each. I contacted the company to point out the pole was sagging and was told I must have heavy curtains even though I had said we hadn’t even been able to put the curtains on the pole as it would have brought the whole lot down. Ended up very very unsatisfactory customer service, but really nice looking curtain pole. The pole is only supplied with 24 curtain rings so you may need to buy extra as 12 per curtain are definitely not enough and probably extra brackets unless your curtains are made of gossamer.

Excellent poles - I ordered three as I have two ...
Excellent poles - I ordered three as I have two windows and a door all in the same room. The poles are really easy to put up (although I had to use my own screws as the ones provided weren't great) and done within half an hour for all three poles. The extendible bit is really easy to operate and set up, and the ends attach and screw on. My order only came with 5 ends, so I contacted customer service and they sent out the sixth end promptly, without any fuss, and issued an apology as well. So the Linen Depot customer service is first rate! Would recommend

Only 4 stars as I was disappointed in the quality of the "glass" ends admittedly they are very light weight but plastic.A couple of weeks ago i ordered from Okra a -Extendable Satin Nickel Curtain Pole Set Crystal Finials, Rings & Rod Fittings (65cm - 120cm)---- but it was too small for my window, but this curtain pole was a perfect size BUT the diamond ends on the Satin Nickel Curtain Pole where made of glass and had a nicer feel, so im going to be doing a sort of mix and match!

poles ahead & Not the final curtain
This is comparable with a £97 pound curtain pole I bought from a shop. Had to speak to them regarding an oversized pole which was a little extra but still superb value for money. The finish is fabulous and the nylon insert to stop the poles scratching as you extend/shorten them is a fantastic addition. Nice size crystal on the end too. Bought 3 of them and extremely satisfied. Packaging was good too, not overkill and fit for purpose. The metallic finish is smooth and not garish at all. Fabulous darling.
