I was looking for an insert to go in our existing fireplace (which works, but is such a hassle!). This is perfect! It is the perfect size, and looks great when the flames and charcoal are on. It doesn't put out much heat - you really don't feel it unless you're right in front of it - but it does take a bit of the chill out of the air. When it's off, it does look fake if you get close enough, but with the metal mesh screen pulled and glass doors closed, no one would ever know! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fireplace insert!

I purchased this in Oct and thought it broke looked like the heater burned out. I unplugged the heater and waited for 30 minutes (I was actually looking for another one to purchase again). Something told me to plug it in one more time and ..... Wala the heater reset. I love the heater in my fireplace. It keeps my room very warm and it looks so real.

I've been researching electric fireplace inserts for some time and was very happy when I discovered this one,at a reduced price.Considering myself to be a savvy shopper,this was a deal I couldn't pass,especially since it was advertised as having all of the features that I was searching for at a much lower price than its competitors.Arrviving expertly packed there is no need to worry about it being damaged during shipping.Assembly was easy,the hardest part was prying it lose from its box due to the surrounding styrofoam used to protect it.Complete with log set and flame image reflecting screen that easily attaches to the unit.Most importantly it provides an efficient heat source,making it cost effective,while creating a more realistic fireplace feel.Unit settings can be found on the side of the unit,and on a provided remote control,with batteries included.Offering multiple settings from flame height,rotation speed,and dimming.Unlike some competing models this unit offers sound effects,which is what prompted my purchase,as I was especially looking forward to the crackling effect it was said to provide.After all what's a fireplace with no crackle?This is where my issue begins.Unfortunately the sound effect is sub par,and is minimally realistic at best.Additional included sound effects provided,are chirping birds and ocean waves,which baffled me,as I'm only interested in a crackling sound coming from my fireplace,not a jungle or beach.Making matters worse there is no way to control the volume which in my opinion was a poor design choice.The crackling feature that I wanted most is so loud making it unpleasant to use.The manufacturer should have rectified this issue by adding a volume control feature.Sadly I'm unable to watch a movie and enjoy the fireplace simultaneously as it overpowers my television,causing stress as opposed to the relaxation it should provide.However being optimistic,I tried to remedy the situation by covering the speaker with some heavy duty tape.Unbelievably this only partially solved the problem slightly muffling the sound and is still too loud.My bedroom is on the third floor of my house,and I was able to hear the obnoxious crackling from the first floor while testing.Growing up in a family of business owners,I realized why this particular model was being sold at such an attractive incredibly low price. Surely I can't be the only customer with this complaint.Understanding business practice and tactics that are used to get rid of poorly designed models,selling them at lower prices is not uncommon.However the entrepreneurs in my family including myself,believe in integrity and would rather take a loss,before liquidating inferior merchandise to unsuspecting consumers.As I really wanted to like and enjoy this item,an in many ways I do as the flame effect is amazing.I will find a solution to effectively muffle the volume.However I will think twice before making future purchases from those underselling products,beating their competitors prices offering the same amenities.

The media could not be loaded.  Easy functions. Heat works really well. I have non-insulated room that gets really cold. This heats the room on low setting and works even better for really cold nights on the high setting. It doesn’t make too much noise. Just a slight hum. The sound features are nice but very loud, so I don’t use them. The flame is better quality than others I have seen. The plastic plate on the back gives them a realistic look. The wood looks great and very real. Fits perfectly in my fireplace. I like that the heat output is placed higher than other products instead of at floor level. The dimmer is also a great function that allows you to create the perfect ambiance. No regrets at all.

I use my fireplace every day now. Love the look and the warmth without having to clean the fireplace after a real fire.

The product comes with everything including a remote and 2 batteries. I put it in my fireplace (which previously was empty) and it looks beautiful. It gives off enough heat but not too much. It looks elegant and sleek. I can't believe the price. I'm very happy with this.

Easy to set up and use! Slid it right into our existing fireplace space and plugged it in. Used a cord cover to route it to the outlet. It looks beautiful! Our family room is a large space and it heats it nicely!

I bought this as it was one of the least expensive heaters that offered quartz tube heating. The first arrived and when operating I didn't see anything inside indicating the quartz was working, contacted the manufacturer (see above in questions) and was told it was quartz heating. If I did not see it glowing it could be defective. To their credit, they sent me a new one. Plugged in the new one and still nothing. I took the old "broken one" apart and there is no quartz tube. Just a regular heating element. I really wanted the ir heat because ir would heat my stone floor. It works, heats a room, but the description is incorrect. Good customer service though. Oh, and remote arrived with dead battery. Nbd

La construcción está muy bien hecha si da efecto de naturalidad las lomas el único problema que le encuentro es que se tiene uno que acercar a veces 10 cm. Del aparato para que el control funcione. No tiene buen alcance y aveces funciona y otras no
