This worked as described. It takes a bit of elbow grease, but it works. Now I’m making my own butter. No more store bought. I try to get organic products as much as possible, but either way it’s great to be able to have fresh butter.

This is junk. Trust me. Swipe left. Keep walking.The oaddle screw keeps falling off so the paddle stops working. LEAKS. The rubber pad is a joke.One is better off using a towel or pot holder. Get a jar and a lid is way easier and less messy.Or paddles on a mixer.

I almost didn't buy this because some of the reviews here said it fell apart quickly. I made some butter with it and everything is good and solid, just like when it came. The gears align very well, nothing is loose, no nuts falling off, etc. It worked perfectly; probably took me a good 20-25 minutes of turning the crank instead of the 15 stated, but I used cold cream not room temperature cream as suggested, and I wasn't cranking as fast in the beginning as I did later on. Fun little contraption, satisfying to use, makes butter as well as my electric mixer but with less noise and the need for electricity.

Not sure how it works. Bought as gift for daughter. She loves it, but never really said how it works.

This butter churn is such a wonderful piece of equipment. I actually haven't used it for making butter yet BUT I did use it to make a cream cheese butter cream icing for homemade cinnamon rolls. I put all the ingredients into the jar, shut the lid, and used the crank like a normal mixer. I had to take a spatula to scrap the sides a few times, like I would if using a bix mixer. The icing was done in just a few minutes. It was smooth and tasted yummy. Best part is I didn't have to move the leftover icing into a different container. Easy and with little mess!I initially bought it to make fresh whipped cream in, as we usually make it by hand in a mixing bowl. I figured this would be easier and less mess. I'm pretty excited about all the possibilities for this.

Ok so my partner and I live together, 4 cats, no kids. This is fun for us when he is playing a video game and I'm just sitting there watching, plus we get butter out of the deal!

I was very disappointed because I picked this one as it was advertised in the picture to have beveled gears. What I got was the same Chinese kind that others have that have straight gears. I was hoping for better quality.
