Earlier in the summer, I bought a pair of wide-calf Dream Pairs boots in a different style that sadly did not live up to the description - I was not able to zip them up over my freakishly large calves and had to return them.Unfortunately (or so I thought) Dream Pairs seems to be the only manufacturer of boots designed to be wide-calf (there might be other wide-calf boots out there, but they are either not marketed as such, or are cost-prohibitive, or just ugly. So, with some trepidation, I decided to give Dream Pairs another chance. I am glad I did.These fit great - I can zip them up fine, and while they are snug, they are not tight. As a frame of reference, my calves are 17.5 inches at their widest, and I can wear these comfortable with a pair of skinny jeans. I can finally rock the skinny jeans or leggings with calf boots (which, as an old fogey, is the only way to wear skinny jeans or leggings, as far as I'm concerned.) I liked these enough that I ordered additional pairs (including one in a different, but similar, style - almost to the knee, but with a couple straps that these don't have.) All of them fit great. I don't know if that first pair were mis-labeled, or if it was simply a particularly unforgiving style, but I am glad that I finally found some boots I like and that fit.

These boots are great! I ordered a 7.5 in the brown pu and they fit and look awesome. They fit true to size and are very comfortable.Edit 11/1/19:These boots are still going strong two years later! Maybe I am gentle with my boots but I like my things to last. They are a great buy.

My boots were delivered while I was at work. I got home and opened the shoebox....and found my boots had been used. This is completely unacceptable and incredibly infuriating, not to mention gross.Were they hoping I'd e-mail them and keep them for a discount?No. I ordered new boots. They should have sent me new boots. Returning and reordering in hopes of getting new boots this time. Hopefully it was just a fluke.Since I had them here, I tried them on. A few reviewers suggested going up a half size, so I got a 7 and it fit perfectly (I normally wear a 6 1/2, sometimes wide). I have thicker calves, so the boot was a little snug, but it wasn't uncomfortable at all. They're actually pretty nice boots for the price.Had I recieved new boots I would have been really happy with them and gladly given 5 stars. These boots are an amazing deal. Unfortunately, their quality control needs some work, and it really pisses me off how often I've been receiving used merchandise when ordering on Amazon lately.

I have really wide calves, but had to return the wide-calf option for regular, and it fits like a dream! In the picture, I have the wife-calf on the left, regular on right. I'm typically between an 8.5-9. I got a 9 so I could wear with socks, but probably would've been fine with the 8.5. They're so comfortable and appear to be sturdy. Love them!

I LOVE these boots! Seriously. I never write reviews and the first thing I did after trying these on, was a review. 😉The first thing I noticed was the color. It’s spot on with the pictures.The stitching and the material both look wonderful; no snags, loose threads, or discoloration. They seem to be of really good quality for faux-leather boots. Especially considering how inexpensive they are!I really like the little bit of heel they have, too.But my favorite thing about them is they are truly wide-calf!! It’s always been difficult for me to find boots that’ll actually zip up courtesy of my 16.25” calves. But I have more than enough room in these! I feel like I could wear fleece lined leggings or jeans with thick socks and STILL have room! It’s fantastic! AND there are nifty little pockets inside the right boot for your cell phone and credit cards, license, etc. My iPhone8 fits with a little room to spare. (I used my kids’ play phone in the photo so you could see easier where the pockets are.)I’m definitely recommending these to all my friends!!👍🏻❤️

I love these boots. I am 82 years old, but still like to be in style. They have a very low heel, which is great for older people so you won't fall. I wear them with pants tucked in, and today I wore them with with a calf length skirt.They are true to size. I wear them with nylon footies. If you want to wear socks , then you should size up a half size.They are very comfortable, and look more expensive than they are. I have a normal size calf.I am very happy with them.

I bought these boots to wear multiple times a week to work. After the first day of wearing them to work, the material on the toe area started to flake away. The first day. I was irritated with that. The picture I included is how they look after a few months of wearing them.Also, after the first day I noticed a pain in my right heel, which I thought was a blister. It was not a blister; however, there is a piece of the boot that pokes out just a bit, which was pushing on my heel on the inside of the boot. I have learned to slide my foot forward just a bit in the boot, and I don’t have the pain. But if I don’t I will get poked with every step.With all that being said, I continue to wear them each week because they are cute and go with my wardrobe.

I really love these boots so comfy usually I have to go through the process of breaking in a new pair of boots everytime because I have really sensitive feet and get blisters everytime very easy but with these boots I didn't get any blisters at all bonus, I did have a problem getting the right size in the begining and had to size up as I am usually a size 8 and got a size 9 but once that was sorted I was really pleased and the Amazon return process is easy. Calf fitting is just right as I need wide calf boots. I always wear boots everyday in autumn and winter, so I don't know about there durability yet, but so far so good.

The boots are lovely and I haven’t worn them yet but they appear comfortable. Only downside is the black elastic at the back. I Ordered the burgundy boots and the black elastic spoils it. Apart fromThat they are really nice and fit my large calf’s.

I’ve just worn my new grey boots for the first time and they look amazing! I’ve been searching for grey boots for a long time and these are really good quality leather. The boots fit true to size and I’m a size 6. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars is because they are a little tight around the ankles getting on/off and I am a slim size. Easily worn with leggings but not jeans. But apart from that they are perfect. Tempted to buy brown boots now.

Got myself the light browns one thinking it would be the colour advertised but is like a light brown towards a purple look, definetly not the colour I wanted but in terms of comfort ness I ordered a size 10 because I’m a male and it’s always super comfortable, I purchased for a pirate cosplay I was going to do but idk if I’m gonna change it or not

I wasn’t expecting the boots to be so comfortable and well made for the price of them. I bought wide calf and so not disappointed… boots that actually fit me so impressed that next payday I’m getting some more in another colour.
