Product Description Hugh Grant and Sara Jessica Parker star in this delightful comedy about finding love in the most unexpected places. Two successful New Yorkers, Paul (Grant) and Meryl (Parker), are at their wits’ end with repairing their strained marriage. But when they become the only witnesses to a brutal murder, the police hide them away in Wyoming – together. Now these die-hard city dwellers will have to survive the weather, bears, fresh air, and forced time with one another if they want to make it out alive. From .co.uk Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker play an estranged husband and wife, both die-hard New Yorkers; while trying to patch things up, they witness a murder and have to go into witness protection in backwater Wyoming. Encounters with bears, bingo, and rodeo clowns ensue. The fish-out-of-water formula is not particularly inspired, but Grant and Parker are well matched; they're both pros who establish an immediate rapport and comfort with each other, making them persuasive as a married couple who haven't fallen out of love. On top of that, the supporting cast is top-notch: Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men) as Parker's snippy assistant, Sam Elliott (Thank You for Smoking) as the Wyoming marshal assigned to protect the neurotic couple, and Mary Steenburgen (Melvin and Howard) as the marshal's tough-as-nails wife are only the most recognizable of the solid ensemble playing the quirky characters surrounding the feuding romantic leads. Writer-director Marc Lawrence previously directed Grant to stronger effect in Music & Lyrics and, in particular, Two Weeks Notice, in which Grant and Sandra Bullock proved surprisingly sparky. --Bret Fetzer

Whiny SJP!
A disjointed and shapeless film where everyone seemed to be doing their own 'thing' oblivious to everyone else. A chunky Hugh Grant is Hugh Grant, the foppish fool, who plays for laughs. SJP can't get away from SAC and whines her way through each scene overacting and rarely communicating with any other character. Sam Elliot and Mary Steenburgen as the Wheelers were the most believable and entertaining couple. All have starred in better films, seek one of them out and don't waste your time with this fluffy piece of silliness.

Made so-so by SJP terrible comedic performance, a bit disappointing.
Hugh Grant is actually quite brilliant at generating abit of mirth in his usual way, Sarah Jessica Parker by contrast is just dreadful at the comedic side of things, as a result it all ends up abit dire at times. The story itself is only really there as a vehicle for the actors so don't expect much from the storyline for entertainment, it's just a shame that with SJP misfiring it means it's a big disappointment. The script still has a few good gags independent of the actors which probably stops it being a total disaster, difficult to recommend with much enthusiasm, but as a cheap 'watch once and throw away' movie possibly just ok.

Perfect romantic comedy
This romantic comedy is brilliant and so funny, Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker work brilliantly together in the film. Meryl (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Paul (Hugh Grant) are a successful couple in Manhattan, Meryl is a real estate agent and Paul is a lawyer. They both go out on a date and witness a murder and soon they become targets of a contract killer and are placed into Witness protection. Throughout the film they find it hard to adjust to no phones, no communication with the outside world with friends and family. Throughout the film you see them from starting to hate each other to falling in love all over again. This film has its fair share of comedy moments and i would highly recommend it!

Good entertainment
Great fun enjoyable movie. Stop knocking Hugh Grant, he can act, he just gets typecast. The art of good acting is thinking the person must be playing themselves. He can also do dramatic parts but doesn't get much chance. Not all dramatic actors can do comedy, he can do both. Well cast. Mary Steenburgen is always worth watching.

Did you hear about the Morgans?
This innofensive film starring Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker was hardly going to be an example of thesbian aptitude as the lead actors are rightly type cast for their ability to only play themselves. However taking both leads out of their comfort zones and dumping them in the wilds of Wyoming ensured that, despite a rather weak plot, the film was not short of humour. Hugh Grant confronted by a bear, and SJP jogging in the desert are scenes that will certainly induce wry smiles. As a means of whiling away a wet evening this film is pleasing enough for all the family but hardly likely to enter the annals of film greats.

Watchable
I had read and heard bad reviews about this film, but as i'm a fan of both Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker and I like rom coms I thought i'd give it a try anyhow. It was pretty much what I expected, and I can't fault the negative reviews. However, it was watchable, and I have seen a lot worse. If there is nothing much on tele, it's an easy way to pass an hour and a half, however I wouldn't encourage anyone to rush out and buy it.Sorry Hugh and SJP, better luck next time!
