I loved painting this picture, having previously been to Amsterdam. The colours were good, a couple of the darker reds and browns were slightly transparent but a second coat resolved that.Loved it!

My wife is a huge fan of painting by numbers and after spending a few days in Amsterdam last year I thought she’d love this!The packaging gives very little away and you’ll only really know what it is upon opening it.One thing I don’t like is how small the packaging is. The canvas is folded many times and quite tightly. Before painting Id recommend taking the canvas out and allowing it to stretch a bit. The folds will take quite a bit of time to clear.The kit comes with everything you need including the brushes and all the numbered paints. The paints all seem in good health, no dried or lumpy paint in the ones we've opened so far (has been known in some previous ones we've done bought from elsewhere)Canvas is a good size too measuring 50x40cm and my wife is very excited to get it finished as the picture is lovely and will be framed somewhere in the house. Lovely set!
