Fantastic Looking and functioning Dive Watch
For background this is my 3rd citizen watch, and my first diver from them. I'm a fairly serious hobbiest watch collector and own lots of watches from different brands of different styles.I picked this up on the amazon prime day sale for $200, which for a watch like this is an absolute steal. The case:There's nothing really to write home about here. The case has a lower profile than I would have expected and it doesn't feel as heavy as I would have thought. I also own a citizen titanium sportswatch and the whole bit doesn't feel as heavy as this one, but it's not drastically different. It would be nice if the caseback was more interesting or see-through but that's not a deal breaker. It's a nice size and looks good on my 7.5in wrist. If you have a smaller wrist it may feel a bit too big, and an Orient mako may be a better option for you.The band:The band has a expander that makes it easy to perform microadjustments without having to take pins out. This is a great feature for being able to adjust to hot and cold weather (or in and out of water) quickly and easily for comfort. I took two links out and adjust this as I need to. It's comfy and easy to use. Great work here. The dial:The dial is the best part of the watch. It's both appropriate as a dive watch and classy enough that it has some pizaaz and sparkle to what feels like a voyage into the sea. The fade to light blue looks like it would mirror coming up out of the water. The time indicies are all rectangles except for the 12 o'clock triangle. And they look great in that faint green color. The hands:The mercedes / peace sign hand for the hour is a really nice touch. When It's partially skeletoned so when you see it in full lume in the dark (assuming while diving) there's a big difference between the hour and minute hand. This little trick makes it much easier to read while scuba diving. The Lume:The lume is great. Blue, bright, and just fantastic. The hands, indicators, and 12 o'clock on the bezel insert are lumed. The bezel and insert:The bezel is great. The clicks have a fluid feel to them. The insert not so much. It's aluminum and looks / feels cheap. I like that the bezel sits the insert above the crystal, so even though it's mineral I'm not worried about it getting scratched. I do worry that the insert will scratch easily and at the full price point I would have hoped there would be a ceramic bezel with more lume. This is something you can get with a $120 addiesdive ordered direct from China, and citizen should have done more here. These are supposed to be seiko SKX bezel compatible so I may upgrade it with something from LCBI.Crown:The crown is nothing special other than it has an engraving on the end. A lot of people like this, but nobody ever really sees it and I don't think it's that interesting of a feature. I wish instead of an engraving they would have installed crown protectors in the case. It both makes the watch sturdier and looks better than a little knob sticking out for the crown.Movement, instructions, and setting the time:The movement is an in-house automatic, either a Miyota 8204. It seems to be keeping good time, but I don't really regulate to the point where I care about losing a few seconds per day. It's running great and running regularly. The watch doesn't come with instructions, however if you've ever used a dive watch before (that isn't a vokstok) this one functions pretty much the same way as any of them. Plus once you register with the app it gives you the option to download instructions. Like just about all other watches certified at 200m or more, the crown screws down. So you'll need to unscrew it. Position 1 sets the day and date, position 2 sets the hours and minutes. The movement is "hacking" so the seconds hand will stop when you pull the crown into position. I don't care about hacking for accuracy down to the second (if I wanted that I'd use a radio controlled watch, not an automatic), but this makes the watches much easier to work on if one day I want to replace the hands or do any work on it.All in all it's a fantastic watch, a japanese diver offered at not much more than chinese bargain brand prices. At under $300, it's an absolte steal.

A Dive Watch Masterpiece
I recently acquired the Citizen Men's Promaster Dive Automatic 3 Hand Silver Stainless Steel Watch, and I must say it has exceeded all my expectations. As a diving enthusiast, a reliable and robust dive watch is a must, and the Promaster Dive Automatic does not disappoint. The first thing that caught my attention is its elegant yet sporty design. The silver stainless steel case and bracelet give it a timeless and durable appearance. It looks just as great with a wetsuit as it does with formal attire. The luminous markers and hands are incredibly bright and easy to read in low-light conditions, a crucial feature for a dive watch. What sets this watch apart is its automatic movement. Powered by your movement, it eliminates the need for a battery. This feature is not only eco-friendly but also ensures that the watch is always ready for action. The second-hand sweeping motion is a joy to watch and adds to the watch's charm.Water resistance is, of course, a primary concern for a dive watch, and the Promaster Dive Automatic excels in this regard. I've taken it on several dives, and it performs flawlessly at depths of up to 200 meters. The screw-down crown provides an added layer of protection against water intrusion.

Runs Fast
Great watch, had to resize the band (usually a must for me), and attractive. Only issue is that it runs about 20 seconds too fast each day. Only other issue is the hour hand is a little difficult to read at times due to it's shape.

Very nice watch
The watch Is extremely high-quality, love the color, weight, size and movement; However, it was extremely difficult to downsize, ultimately ended up taking it to a jeweler. Otherwise, it’s perfect.

Citizen make great watches. No disappointments with this Promaster.
Another solid timepiece from Citizen to add to my ever expanding watch collection. You can tell the quality is there and I believe Citizen Promasters best Seiko dive watches in the same price range. This is a proper, ISO certified diver's watch so it is a quite thick and is no lightweight. This said, it is a comfortable watch to wear. The case is well machined and is free of any sharp edges and the solid-link bracelet can be sized to pretty much any wrist, thanks to the micro-adjuster/diver extension in the clasp. The bezel adjusts well and does not have any wobble to it. Alignment with the dial and indices pretty much spot-on. The dial is a little darker in the flesh, compared with the pictures but does shine well in sunlight. The luminescence is also very good. The tried-and-true Miyota 8200-series movement is within 10 seconds a day - not too bad for an automatic watch in this price range.Just two items of note.First: My watch arrived in a generic Citizen watch box, not in the plastic 'air tank' that is shown on the page. I actually prefer the box to the 'air tank' as it's easier to store compared with the gimmicky plastic tank.Second and most important: The bracelet links uses a 'pin and collar' system, so sizing it to fit your wrist can be tricky if you don't know what you are doing and do not have the proper watch-specific tools. The pin is secured into the link with a tiny (and I mean tiny) hollow collar. These collars can easily become lost if you are not paying attention when removing the pins and the bracelet cannot be properly secured into place without them. Watch some YouTube videos first if you've never worked on a 'pin and collar' bracelet or take it to a watch store or jewellers for correct sizing if you do not have the proper tools or are not comfortable sizing watch bracelets.

Great watch
Almost perfect, keeps excellent time. Great value, bought on sale during Black Friday. Swap the original metal bracelet to a FKM rubber and a Tiatanium bracelet to reduce the overall weight of the watch, it now rest comfortably on my wrist. The dial hands are reminiscent of a Rolex. I would buy it again if it goes on sale again.

Amazing watch very happy
The media could not be loaded. It's a very gud buy especially I brought it for $280 on Black Friday feels expensive and heavy on big wrist. The only thing I didn't like Abt is the packing I got it's normal packaging of citizen watch not the oxygen tang as shown in the pictures above. For this prices I think it's the best pick.
