First i want to say, that this product does look like a flame. The light doesn't just glow orange but, also shows the flame likeness. I would recommend this light bulb is going for a Halloween or just as a deco.

I'm pleased with the flame effect...looks pretty good. Don't expect it to looks like the flames in the obviously re-touched still pictures. Look instead at the video for more accurate representation of the flame effect. The effect does look better in a glass lamp shade.Some reviews I read complained that it doesn't produce enough light; I don't think you can expect a flame simulation to be bright. Think about it...how much light does a few candles give off? I'm just sayin'....I took away one star because one of the modes - breathing - doesn't work. I don't care too much because I don't see using that one. I get flame and general light mode. The upside down "gravity" mode also works fine with flame and general light modes.I bought this for extra Halloween atmosphere for my porch but I can see using this in the backyard patio for adding ambiance to evening gatherings.I think it's worth it. I'm enjoying it!

These are the most realistic flame bulbs ever. They work great and set the mood for a room!

I used one outside and one inside as a night light. Love the glow and flickering. Very spooky on the outside with the other decorations.

These bulbs don't really resemble the motion of fire.They just flicker up and down in a way that sort of looks okay from a distance, but up close they're no where near what I was expecting.Some time back I HAD found bulbs that were excellent quality and looked a LOT like flames, and ever since they died, I've been searching for something similar.Unfortunately, by comparison this product falls well short in the realism department.I'll definitely have to keep looking if I want to find something with a slightly more accurate 🔥.

Took the orange flaming ones out and replaced them with the green for Christmas. They look very nice and unique.
