I love this set! It is beautiful and so fun to use. The ink works well with the different nibs.

I recently decided to learn calligraphy and wanted something fun and pretty to get me to do it so I decided to look for a feather pen. This one is just as described and the ink seems to be of good quality but I’m no expert. The one downside is that if you are actually buying this to write things the etching on it will rub against your skin and hurt after a while so maybe just have a normal one on hand if you are writing a lot. Other than that that’s It’s remains as nice decor when not in use.

This pen is perfect as a gift but also it functions wonderfully. I have used different dip pens throughout my life and was a bit weary on buying this one at the price. It is actually really nice, the ink is pretty darn good quality and you can write a good two sentences easily in a dip. If you want this as a normal writing pen i would recommend a wide mouth inkwell since this bottle is hard to see in level it is easy to over dip the pen. Other than that it is a beautiful set. I bought a second one as a gift and the first one is now my normal writing pen.
