Under rated group.
How nice to find this live CD of Camel. A much under rated group which has not had the accolades they deserve. This CD features them in Tokyo, although it seems a rather quieter audience than usual for a Japanese crowd...no high pitched screaming or cheering which seems odd for Japan. Anyway although not a full show this features some classic Camel such as Echoes, Neon Magic and Wait as well as a truncated version of The Snow Goose. The playing is immaculate as would be expected form this version of the group (has Colin Bass who is still with the only remaining original member of the group, Andrew Latimer, Kit Wat kins and Jan Schelhass). The sound is very good although some of the spoken introductions can be a little muddy. Comes with a short booklet summarising the history of the group up to this point. A worthy addition to the collection and hopefully the first of more radio shows from Camel in the future.

Bought back memories
Saw them touring 'I can see' at the Ipswich Gaumont so this was a reminder of how great a band they are. Sound is good and song selection excellent apart last song Nobody Knows which a fusion piece which didn't do anything for me. A must for any Camel fan.

Radio broadcast - maybe not a bootleg?
I've not purchased this particular item as I had a copy of the radio broadcast this is taken from and if this is the same as that, which was from a liberated bootleg "Neon Magic", then its a great addition to your Camel collection. I don't think the band will get anything from it though and as there are a number of sellers offering it and it is on a label that says it specialises in re-issues and it also releases other radio broadcasts by other artists it looks to be one of those grey area releases - presumably the copyright , if there is one, would be held by the radio station that originally recorded it? If you are looking for a live Camel cd to fill in a gap between their officially released ones then this is possibly it, and for those who have no idea where to get hold of what are called 'recordings of indeterminate (in some cases this is replaced with 'illegal' although that is a moot point with collectors) origin' or ROIOs for free as opposed to purchasing highly priced bootlegs the recent spate of radio broadcasts being released at least means they can be heard - and hands up everyone who used to tape live shows off the radio. At least this is not such a high cost and if it helps the label to source other out of print or radio broadcasts then why not?I would, however, strongly encourage anyone who is a Camel fan (and doesn't already have it) though to buy their Live at the Albert Hall DVD - I got mine a month or so ago through their online store and its an absolute must have.

Terrific live album!
Bootleg or not, this is a terrific live album from Camel, with a very good sound quality, strong songs from the 1980 line-up, and plenty of the lyrical guitar playing of the superb Andy Latimer. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer than 41 minutes!

BUEN SONIDO
Concierto en Japón con sonido grabado desde la mesa . No es completo y empieza con un corte pero el sonido es aceptable y es la gira del "I can see you house"
