Non-slip slipper.
Work pretty well, and hold up to high traffic; but tend to move around a lot if a little double stick tape isn't used.

Reduces the hazards of a high entry doorstep
Product works as expected. Only 2.5 inch height on the back end though. There were some other products out there with more height in the back end, but they didn't all have angled edges or they looked like they had smooth/shiny finishes that could potentially create a slipping hazard in wet weather. This product needs to be made in larger back-end heights though, because some door thresholds, like mine, are quite high--8+ inches. Luckily, I did not buy this for wheelchair use. I bought it because I've already had one hip surgery, and I can already feel the other going bad. Add to that an extreme pulled muscle injury on the bad hip side, gained by recently tripping over some random loose rug roll laying around in a national furniture store (actually one of several rolls that were in various places around the store with no caution signs to warn customers). And very soon after the initial injury, I re-pulled the muscles just trying to step out of my front door! So I went online looking for in between steps or ramps. Found this entry mat. It is wide enough to cover the width of my front door. It is heavy and has a non-slip finish all over, so I have no worry that it will move out of place when I step on it. Nor do I worry that my foot will slip on the top surface. I like the angled edges so as not to worry about any sharp drop-offs should I accidentally step near the edge of the mat. I would have liked a higher back end that is closer to the height of my front door, but at least this helps a little. I am not as afraid of falling just by stepping out my front door. I have only had it a short time, but so far I would recommend to others. Only time will tell how it holds up to the weather/elements, but it seems pretty sturdy, so I predict that it will last at least a couple of years.
