It was super easy to put together and i love the finished product. These are great shelves.

I was looking for a bookshelf to replace the cheap black basic bookshelves I have had for years. This one is relatively inexpensive, and while not solid wood, it is really beautiful and feels like something I am proud to display in my home. As you can see in the pictures, I have quite a large number of books, yet the shelves seem very sturdy. It was a bit of a hassle to put together, and I consider myself pretty good at assembling furniture. Three times, I put the pieces together backwards, which is really easy to do as it's not really described in the assembly instructions. I would recommend for you to really step back and try to visualize how it's going to look before you spend hours with that little allen wrench. By the way, the instructions say not to use power tools, but eventually I got fed up and used my power drill - it was fine. Just be gentle with it. The bookshelves come with brackets so you can fasten them to the wall for support, but they are kind of ugly. It's essentially just a wall bracket that you use zip ties to attach the bookshelf. Really ugly, and you just have to cover it up with books or something to hide it. Overall I am very pleased, and will probably buy another one of the same kind when my book collection outgrows this shelf (as it already has!)

This was very easy to assemble. It is sturdy enough to hold many books or items as needed. This shelf can be assembled in different format so it could even fit in a corner!

I had purchased the shorten version of this and was so happy with it that I also purchased this taller unit.Well, don't. The seller knows these are defective and are continuing to sell the product anyway. I tried working with the seller to know avail.They would like for me to watch videos and learn workarounds for the defective part of the unit. I am a disabled person of age. My adult kids assembled the other one and this one. That's not happening. They do not possess McGyver-like skills to create holes and parts where there are none nor should anyone have to.The thing is 65% assembled and would be a pain to take back apart to return. So, I'm going to pay a handyman $50 to figure out a solution.I do not recommend purchasing this unit and sure wish I hadn't either.

This shelf is amazing. It’s the perfect size for my apartment. Holds all kinds of stuff. You can set it up three different ways so it will pretty much fit any space you want it to. Instructions were easy to read, and very easy to assemble.
