They did what they were bought for.

Number plate fell off after a month
Brand new plate stuck to brand new mount so perfectly dry and clean and the pads (8 on the front plate) failed after a month and the number plate fell off completely. Car had been garaged and only used at the weekend in the dry.

Slim double sided sticky pads
These are brilliant. You do have to let them bond to the surface for best adhesion. Make sure the surface is dust and grease free and they really hold.

good as sticky pads but not sticky enough for car number plates
These sticky pads for number plates do a job but I am not sure for how long as they are not super sticky.I was expecting the sticky pad to be super sticky and strong like gaffer tape but just putting your finger on the black surface you can feel it’s just like a normal sticky pad and these are not up to the weather conditions and bumps in the roads that you will need from numberplate sticky pads.I tried putting 4 strips on my numberplate and made sure to clean the surfaces well beforehand and while it does stick and can’t just be knocked off, I did feel that with a gentle pull or the gradual wear and tear of being on a car they would eventually fall off.Overall, I would say the cheaper price of £5.89 is reflected by the cheaper product, it you want ones for numberplates spend more and get much stronger ones.
