This product does what it is supposed to, but I can only give it three stars for a few reasons, two smaller ones and one larger:Larger gripe:The item pictured is different than what the actual product is. The version that I received has two additional holes in the very middle of the tray intended for attaching a carrying handle to the tray. The carrying handle is rather ugly and does not match the rest of the tray, nor is it shown in any of the pictures. The screws attach to the handle from underneath the plate, and there is no threading in the holes for the screws themselves. I do not plan on using the carrying handle, and because the screws do not thread in to anything besides the handle there are now two large empty holes in the middle of the tray that I wasn’t expecting. Not exactly the look I wanted for my coffee bar. I’ve included a picture to show what I’m talking about.Small gripes:1. For what this is, the price on it is fairly high. If this was the only issue I still would have given it 5 stars.2. There is a minor amount of assembly required. It is only a few screws, but I can’t find that listed anywhere. For the amount this product costs this is easily something that could have been handled on their end. I believe that it came unassembled so that you can attach the carrying handle without having to take the tray apart, but as the carrying handle wasn’t included in any of the pictures or the product description I found this to be slightly annoying.Overall, this product does what it is supposed to do but because of the inaccurate advertising I can not in good faith give it more than three stars. I really like all of my other Normcore products, but this one was a bit of a let down.

Since these are the tinted ones, it’d be nice to have a way to figure out which ones were empty at a glance. With one edge against the wall, you can’t see the back row. After emptying them, you’ll want to replace the lid to keep out dust, but then the empties look like the full ones. If the base had slightly larger holes, I could turn the empties upside down, but unfortunately the caps do not fit. For now, I’m placing the cap on loosely, so that it rests on the gasket and protrudes slightly. This sort of works, but it’s still a bit subtle to be able to spot the full ones at a glance. Maybe getting tinted ones was a dumb idea since they won’t ever be in direct sunlight.It’s a picky complaint, and I can easily look past it.

The newest version of this acrylic single dose bean holder is a better version of the previous one. The upgrades are the handle and the "smoked" color. The handle is very convenient for moving and matches the aesthetic well. The new color is nice and less scientific looking. The darker color should help with any UV degradation of the beans. It is very convenient to have each morning dose of beans already set up. It is one less thing to do in the mornings. The one way valves make this better than just using a jar or keeping beans in a leaky bag. I have enjoyed using bean cellar and have had no issues with it.

These dosing tunes are perfect. They almost exactly(there's a little extra room) the right size foe 28g of beans which is about how much I generally grind for an espresso brew.They're very elegant looking and fit right in with my little coffee station. There was one minor issue where one of the screws in the base never got tight. So that's something to be mindful of.Having the individual tubes is great as you can pre-weigh your beans so that your mornings or whatever time of day get started quicker. I love that there is a little vent on the top of the cover to allow you to get a tight seal as the air is expelled as the cover goes on.No complaints so far (except the screw) and I can see myself happily using these for many years to come.

I was excited to get these because I’ll be roasting my own coffee beans in very small batches and needed something to age them in before I make espresso drinks with them.The construction of the base and handle is not great. The handle had a couple pre drilled holes but one was stripped and I couldn’t get the screw in all the way. Fair enough. I don’t even remember it having a handle.The individual containers don’t fit in super snug so there is a higher probability of these falling during transport.The lids for the containers do fit very snuggly. There is what appears to be a little one-way valve inside the top of each lid and a tiny hole on top of each lid to presumably allow gas to escape the container from the beans.I tried blowing air through it with zero success. Then I tried using baking soda and vinegar to build up gas inside to see if it would release the pressure with no noticeable air being released. I’m not sure these lids do anything. I’ll do some more testing and get back to you on that.Overall I’m sure they’ll do well with holding the beans but if they don’t release the gas then it will ruin my objective and not be suitable. I’ll give it 4 stars until I know definitively that they work as advertised.

The screws for the handle were missing. Contacted normcore to send me the screws so I can install the handle but no response. They look great but they are regular storage containers as the “valves” they have to let out air don’t think do anything as air does not go out of them. If you buy them it should be be a use you like the look not because of the performance.

Die Schraubengewinde halten die Schrauben nicht wirklich fest. Dadurch ist das ganze etwas wackelig! Schade bei diesem Preis und der allgemeinen Qualität.

Very nice set good quality I can fit more then 18g of coffee beans in one tube.
