This rug fit my image for the dining room perfectly. It’s pleasantly softer than I expected. I have 5 kids and needed something that could be cleaned easier than the other one we had. The softness makes me wonder how easy it’s actually going to be to clean but we will see. Either way I’m happy with it. It did lay flat from the very beginning. It came folded in a box instead of rolled up so that probably helped. Thankfully, it didn’t have a crazy chemical smell and seems like it’ll hold up well. I’m hoping when it comes time to clean it, I can take it outside and just hose it down but again we will see. For now, I’m very pleased with the quality and look of this rug. The dark contrast works beautifully with our decor. Worth the price in my opinion.

Oh my goodness, I just have to share how much I adore my new jute rug! It’s like it was made for my living room. The moment I unrolled it, the space just transformed – warmer, more welcoming, like it’s always belonged there.I was a bit nervous at first, wondering if it would be tough to keep looking good, especially with my two dogs and a toddler in the mix. But let me tell you, this rug is the little engine that could! Spills? No problem, a quick dab and we’re good. And it’s been holding up like a champ, no signs of giving up anytime soon.Walking on it is surprisingly comfy, which I wasn’t expecting. There’s this nice, soft feel to it that just makes you want to go barefoot all the time. And yes, it did have a bit of a grassy smell at the start, but that faded fast and now there’s just this fresh, clean vibe.It also stays put really well. I was so over rugs that did the slip-and-slide every time someone rushed over them. Not this one. It’s like it’s made a pact with the floor – no moving, no curling, just staying right where it should be.Honestly, getting this rug has been such a win. It’s brought this cozy, earthy touch to my place that I just love. If you’re on the fence about getting one, I say go for it. It’s sturdy, it’s beautiful, and it just brings the room together. Absolutely recommend!

Could not be any happier! I bought a different brand and returned it. Then bought this one and it's perfect. Looks beautiful as advertised. Soft and no shedding so far. Very happy!!

I've been using this runner for about 2 months now on the carpet in between the couch and "trunk coffee table". The carpet in this room definitely needs replacing but I'm not ready for it just yet so instead of having to look at that ugly worn carpet for the next few months I decided that covering it with a runner would work. It does - perfectly! I chose this one because I liked the size (most of the time if it was the length I needed for the couch area, it was 3' wide and I only needed 2' wide).Another reason I chose this one is because the color is nice and natural looking and it goes well with the rest of the decor in my house - I figure once I no longer need it in front of the couch, I will have no problem finding another place to use it. And finally and best of all - it stands up to all the traffic it gets. And as a bonus, it hides crumbs, etc. that have a way of finding the floor in front of the couch. When I vacuum it, I don't have to worry about it getting sucked up in the vacuum as long as I don't use the hard floor setting. The only downside is one edge of it that I can't get to lay flat. It's to be expected really with most rugs - the location and size of this edge aren't likely to cause anyone to trip so I'm not concerned about it, but thought it might be a good thing to let people know.

Perfect rug for outdoor. Soft and looks great but it smelled like glue and the entire rug was wet. I saw more reviews talking about the moisture. The package was sealed the box was dry but the rug wet. I could see how other people would find mildew or mold in the rug. I was able to lay it outside and let it completely dry but beware! Don’t wait to open your package. Besides the fact my rug was wet and smelled like glue it was overall a good purchase.

After waiting SEVERAL months for the 9' x 12' option in the off-white, it finally came back in-stock. It's the perfect shade and is really soft, which I didn't think possible for an outdoor rug. It came folded in a box and I'm sure with the humidity and heat, the creases will soon disappear. We actually purchased the same rug in 8' x 10' for inside our lanai and it arrives today.

This rug is perfect! Nice weight! Gives a beachy theme to my room. No problem with shedding fibers. Layrd flat in a two day or three. I've read many reviews about jute carpets and the most prevalent complaint is a bad odor and messy residue left underneath on the floor. When this rug was opened it didn't smell. Later it will not shed organic stuff underneath on the floor because the fiber very interesting and washable rug.
