It actually works!
It takes a little bit of effort to "train" it if you want the best results but it will work out of the box. Read instructions and view the vids on their web site. I've gone from as many as a dozen a day to about 2 a week after "training". No more 6 amcalls!

Beyond surprised at how well it works
We keep a legacy landline around for comfort of calls to 911 and during power outages/weather.Lately its been impossible to use, with phones unplugged and off the hook due to dozens to hundred of spam calls a day. The phone would ring constantly from 5am to 10pm. We'd answer the early/late ones at times and tell them to stop but to no avail. They were indignant and rambled on with their sales "pitches"So I decided to give the Digitone a try.BamThe phone is silent.I see the flashing red light and call counter on the screen, but the phone is not ringing! Most of these are "out of area" callsWe've tested approving a few and that works. We've hit block on name and number, but even without doing anything, the onslaught of junk calls has stopped.I compared a number of products on Amazon, but ultimately settled on the Digitone because it didn't offer any kind of announcement/feedback to the callers. The other one I considered was more of a cal screener which answered calls with "press 0 to be whitelisted" , which would not have worked for us - these are not dialer calls, in our case someone is always there and would have heard and pressed 0 and defeated that.Overall, beyond pleased. Worked perfectly for my case.

Peace!
We recently suspect that our number had been sold to advertising or something. Getting upwards of 15+ calls a day. Some were silent on the other end when you picked up, some were robots and others were live people peddling services we did not need and my older parents don't know when to say no and insists on picking up the phone everytime. The calls would start at 6am and go as late as 10pm. This thing has been a lifesaver. From the first day we plugged it in it cut the phone calls down to a handful. The rest that it doesn't catch I can with a few simple button click. Even without the instruction book it was pretty easy to figure out. So happy I got this and look forward to getting less and less solicitation calls.

You are the best
I had a problem and I was shipped a new one. Anyway I threw out the competitors one. It was junk. If you want a good Call Blocker I recommend this. This has more features than the competitors. You can block numbers and names. Trust this review and you will be making the right decision.

For the most part OK
It has cut down a number of the scam calls we have received. Where it falls short is if the caller ID displays only city, state with no number or other information, and caller ID that displays only area code and number only Those calls get through. If they addressed these, it would be perfect.
