They light up when you switch them on. Result!

Very powerful at a great price
It is effective at killing flies even very small ones, I’m guessing it’s powerful because when a small fly hits it, it sounds like a pylon being struck by lightning 😛.

It does work but…
It does work but the flies get stuck on the tubes as there’s no space between the metal and the tubes. Having said that, it was cheap and if you want better quality you have to spend more I guess

Lasted 3 months, don’t bother.
This has been plugged in since mid January and hardly used as few flies this time of year. Now beginning of April when we will need it and it doesn’t work. Waste of £46.

Popped as soon as put in
Was trying to save money and not buy the whole thing again, but one of the bulbs popped as soon as refitted and the other later about 10mins. Checked and re-checked was the correct bulb for the product.
