After I had my now calm tooth disturbed in a routine cleaning about 7 months ago , most of the original sensitivity returned. This sensitive product was no longer available so I bought some stuff in a syringe ( much easier to apply), but snese the whole situation was so aggravating mentally and my tooth was getting better, I did not apply it.....BUT 1 week ago I reluctantly went for cleaning and I mentioned my last experience.....they said they would avoid placing aan instrument between gum and buccal side of tooth and that when cleaning was over they would apply "flouride varnish". They did and it helped considerably. its available thru A and is inexpensive......this is the stuff you want if you have bothersome sensitivity to cold especially......waiver....assuming your tooth not abcessed or has major crack. It will feel like a thin layer of chewing gum for 24 hours and edges will wear off but gum liine seal lasts,....and you can put it on everyother day for a while as needed. I have very sensitive teeth as I age, and I have found Senzz Away helps a great deal. I can eat hot or cold items and not grab my mouth in pain. Doesn't taste great, but it works.
