Behind the split-fluted milled rim is the expanse of the fine brushed aluminium dial which reveals a partial view of the precision movements. The dial is bedecked with˜10 genuine diamonds˜flanking the Roman numeral hour markings, above which the 12 is trimmed in princely royal blue, a bold evocation of the Mediterranean Sea. Clear round instruments, geometrically aligned to the south, display the calendar date and days of the week. There is also a 24-hour indicator depicting the face of the moon. Three classically-shaped, luminous hands form the upper layer beneath the specially hardened mineral crystal glass.
