Log train- he loves it.
I brought this for my 3-year-old grandson. If I could give him this train every day; I would, just to see the smile on his face. He said “A log train! Grandma, I love it”! I wish I could have made a video.

Sturdy, Fast, Fun
Grandbaby loves it. Has a light, makes noises, goes fast ... maybe too fast. Baby was leaning on it heavily so its sturdy. He didn't do it too long but it survived that. It mostly works on Brio and similar track, will not fit in tunnels, some bridges, can't get around the sharp corners. It kind of falls over easily. He's had it two months, it has slowed down a bit, holding up well overall.

We’ll see how the second one does!
Update:I originally rated this train FIVE STARS, as this was a FANTASTIC toy until it broke! We’ve played with it 10-12 times, and it’s always worked great, and will pull a surprising amount of weight! Unfortunately, today while playing with it the wheels stopped turning even though the “engine” was still running. We had just replaced the batteries so obviously that wasn’t the issue, so I decided to take the screws out and open it up. I found that one of the plastic gears inside had two of the gear spikes broken off, which is why the wheels aren’t turning like they should. Unfortunately, this makes the entire train unusable which is really disappointing. I don’t know if this is just a fluke or if the plastic gears are made really cheaply, but it was pretty disappointing for it to just break all of a sudden. I’m going to try to get a replacement, but we’ve had it for a while, so the warranty might be up. If I can’t get a replacement, I’m going to purchase it again in hopes it was just a fluke. Overall, I would recommend this train under the assumption that this was just a fluke, but if the second engine ends up breaking in the same way, I will update this review again.

Good toy hard to replace cover back on when replacing batteries
My son loves it but it is hard to put the cover back on when replacing batteries. I was getting mad trying to put it back pn, and I was telling myself you're literally a plumber , and you can't put a cover back on where the batteries go on a toy train? I made myself even more mad but did get it on.🤣 motivated myself

Best little train for kids!
This little train brought my nephew so much joy. It’s perfect he’s 2 and he played with this little train for hours. It’s exactly what I was looking for not hard for him to play with and no need for parents help to operate which made it the perfect gift. Best purchase so far this Christmas. Would recommend!!! Oh and you don’t need the tracks for it to work!!!

Battery Impossible
The battery is impossible to put in due to an excessively small screw and very strong springs that pop it out every time you attempt to tighten it. Bummer because the train itself is very cute. Unfortunately, without the battery, it's useless so I am sending it back. They need a better design for securing the battering. Fingers ache from multiple unsuccessful attempts. I was determined but in the end, lost the batter. My 2.5 year old grandson didn't understand why he didn't get his train in the end. Looking for another one.
