Blood, Sweat, and Desire: A Psychological Thriller Paperback – July 15, 2023

My first time reading Britney King. The plot reminded me of Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None. It was ok and kept my Interest going. Weird characters on a ceazy weekend getaway with a fast enough pace for sticking with the book.

If twisted characters and plots are your thing, you will love this book. Not one redeeming quality amongst them but macabre couple, Jack and Emily make for a sinister good time, until one fateful night when they start to question everything. Definitely different but the saying keep your friends close and your enemies closer applies.

I believe I've read most of Britney Kings novel. I think this one is a winner! Fast paced, great characters, and a plot that grabs you in the beginning and twists you every which way. Close friend get together for a weekend and one comes up with the idea odd. a mate swap. Then the idea becomes a a thrill ride. Didn't see that ending coming!

This may be the best Brittany book ever! Seven thirty-somethings get together for a reunion weekend. It starts out well until the chef gets stabbed in the neck is there one murderer? Or two? You'll never know, until you get to the end of the spaghetti highway! A great read!

I really don't understand how this has so many glowing reviews. The plot of this book was so outlandish. Nothing about this book was even the tiniest bit realistic. There are no characters that are redeemable and things are mentioned briefly but never really explained.

This was a very engaging book. I couldn’t put it down, because there were so many twists and turns that kept me wanting to know what was going to happen next. I highly recommend this book.

Another fast paced read from Britney King. The book is about a group of longtime friends who get together for what is supposed to be a relaxing time. The decision is made to swap partners and as you would expect, there are consequences. The story has some twists and turns that ultimately ends in an unexpected way. The content of Britney’s books aren’t for everyone so if you do not want to read adult themes, then this would not be for you. If you are ok with language and sex, then give this book a try.

So many times I literally gasped out loud. Twist and turns you never see coming! Definitely a must read. You won’t be disappointed

What a great read Britney King is my go to Physiological Thriller Author and this is just another example of why.Group of friends get together for a weekend away and we'll is not what any of them expect and we'll it works be boring is it was and Britney does not do boring. The question is will they swap and why is there a dead body in the morning. Emily and Jack seem to have it all but is thus going to push Emily too far.This is such an Awesome Thriller twists you won't see coming and characters you will need to watch because anything can happen and it doesn't always end well. I just love the writing and the whole thriller is gripping and just a must read that gets better with every page and it starts of from a high. I've not found a better author and this is just another great from her I'm not sure how she does it but she never fails to blow your mind with each book and this is another one of them.So it's highly recommend in my books and I sure you will agree.
