Sam the Cooking Guy and The Holy Grill: Easy & Delicious Recipes for Outdoor Grilling & Smoking

I really like Sam the Cooking Guy's YouTube channel so decided to buy his book. The recipes are made for the everyday cook using ingredients you probably already have, or are easily sourced from a regular grocery store. So far I've cooked the chicken tacos, choripan, brisket burger, chicken souvlaki, bang bang tofu, old bay shrimp, and one damn fine smoked burger. All of them delicious! Lots of tips for cooking are included. Sam's sense of humor, and relaxed cooking vibes make this one of my favorite cook books. Buy it!

I am not sure where I heard of Sam Zien, but I am glad I did! His YouTube videos are great fun. I own so many cookbooks that I don't usually buy them before spending time with a library copy. I didn't think I would buy this one because I don't own a smoker. There are so many great grill recipes and smoking ones that can be adapted that I needed this book after paging through it. The grill-grilled cheese sandwich with prosciutto is wonderful! Plop it down with Italian Elote and you have a winning lunch! Creole fish sandwiches and lamb-stuffed pitas are two other sandwich recipes that rock! This is not a cookbook that will sit idle on one of my shelves; I have many recipes marked to try.

We've watched many of Sam Zien's YouTube cooking channel shows. He is hilarious and his irreverant attitude comes through in this cookbook. I can count on one hand the number of cookbooks I've purchased over the decades. I'm very glad I bought this one. It will be a useful resource for many years to come as we grill several times per week and need to change things up!

If you haven’t watched his videos you’re missing great food entertainment. I’m so inspired by his recipes after watching him. The cookbook is very easy to follow, great pictures, simple ingredients, it makes me hungry flipping through the pages! Sam gets 5 stars in my book!!

We Watch Sam, the Cooking Guy religiously on his YouTube channel. We have tried some of his recipes, and they’re always awesome! Can’t wait to try some of the recipes in this new book! If you haven’t watched him on his channel, you need to do so! Not only are his recipes good, but he’s hilarious as well!

Bought this for my son he will enjoy it very nice cook book Sam did a very nice job of putting it together

This is my third Sam cook book and I use all three all of the time. These receipts are easy to follow and they come out so good. I can not wait to continue to up my grilling game. I also have one of his knifes and it is amazing.

Use it once a week at least

Mir gefällt das "Grill-Buch" nicht so gut, wie die zwei vorher erschienen Bücher von Sam the Cooking Guy. Aber das ist Geschmacksache; vor allem beim Essen :-)
