Best boots I've ever bought. No rubbing 100% comfy

Straight out of box , just breaking them in , so wearing in the house , but with hikings socks , and using a heel lock lacing method, these boots feel as secure as my £250.00 zambalan viox boots

I have fond memories of what Karrimor used to be, a genuine British outdoor brand. Since they're now owned by Sports Direct, I wasn't overly keen on buying some, but I needed a cheap boot so decided to give them a try.Whilst Karrimor is no longer a market leader in the serious outdoor equipment and they no longer make (IMO) the quality of product they used to these are a decent, fairly lightweight fabric boot. (I spent 10+ yrs buying & selling outdoor equipment in the UK)I returned the original size and went up a half size as for me they fit a little small overall.Pro's :- They're light & flexible -- which makes for a decent summer / casual walking boot Reasonable price Colour is a bit different from standard brown or black boots The sole unit is quite hard wearing and appears to grip quite well overall (except for flat wet stone, where many boots struggle anyway!) Solid metal eyelets for the laces appear well riveted and none have come looseCons :- The laces aren't very good, mine last about 6 months before needing to be replaced, they snag and fray quite easily The waterproof liner is --- questionable -- whilst of course you don't expect a Gore-tex effectiveness from a boot of this price the waterproofing isn't great & if they get wet inside the breathability is likely so poor that they will take a long time to dry (however this is same for high end GTX boots, but on a lesser scale) -- and apart from light rain in my experience they won't be keeping your feet totally dry for long.However, all that taken in to account they still have performed quite well in a variety of conditions, recently across Dartmoor, which was dry when we started & I doubt even a high end boot would have remained totally dry!Overall for the price you can buy several pairs of these for the average price of a Scarpa, Berghaus etc branded boot -- which if you just want to chuck a pair of boots in the car for a walk or a short break these could be a solid option & i'd consider buying again as the fit (eventually) was comfortable for my feet at least!Really quick deliveryExcellent return / exchange service

I wear boots everyday (walk dogs).From 5* counting down...-1* On the 11th morning the laces snapped.-1* Both laces showing signs of chafing by the 9th day.-1* By the time I got home on my 11th day my right foot was soaking.-1* Wrote to the vendor with no reply.+1* Super fit, soft and comfortable, very grippy soles ~ really pleased with this aspect.Disappointed and will have to spend more ~ so close yet so far.

The only thing I didn't like was the tongue in the heel section it's slightly annoying

My son hasn't taken them off yet he says they are that comfortable

Bought instead of snow boots, glad i did.

The boots are very comfortable and used for everyday use, ideal for cross country walks with the dog.
