Fabulous!!!
And I do not say that lightly!!This is possibly my favorite Maggie Dallen historical that I have read thus far. Mary and Paul are def my current favorite couple. The story immediately captured my attention and was just so entertaining!! I plan to reread it immediately after writing this review. The banter and the playfulness and the misunderstandings and the sincerity and the realizations of feelings...it was done chef's kiss perfection. The cherry on top was each (especially Paul) realizing their worth to the other person.Absolutely loved this story! *****

A Clean Childhood-Rivals-to-Lovers Regency with Palpable Chemistry
The Misguided Miss Mary is a clean regency romance that follows a childhood-rivals-to-lovers story arc. I really enjoyed it. :) It was an entertaining read filled with humor and well-developed characters. The chemistry (no pun intended) between Paul and Mary was palpable, loaded with tension and realness. I loved their story and how they had been childhood playmates turned rivals based on events that were complex yet oh so relatable. It brought depth to their story and made the ending that much more satisfying.I have really enjoyed the entire School of Charm series. This is one of my favorites along with The Misgivings about Miss Prudence (which is also a childhood-rivals-to-lovers story! It would seem I really like that trope lol.) But this book can also be enjoyed without reading the books before it.

Simply Delightful!
He had been the bane of her existence growing up.Now here he was at the houseparty and it seemed he was determined to challenge her! Mary and Paul had grown up together, being neighbors. Now it seemed his father was determined to have them marry.Mary had been infatuated with Paul, that is until he told her father about her science experiment, and the explosion. Oh and he began to moon over her older sister, Catherine. Why was he now acting interest in her?A delightful story as only Maggie can tell, with a lot of misunderstandings and past deeds that have these two trying their best not to give in and admit how they feel!! I think this has to be my favorite of the series! But cannot wait to see where Eloise got off to!!

Cute story
A friend’s to lover’s story. Miss Mary and Lord Paul were childhood friends who spent a lot of time together running around the grounds of their neighboring homes. Paul was always playing pranks on Mary and teasing her, what teenage boy wouldn’t? But when Paul showed interest in Mary’s sister, it became friends to enemies. And Mary harbored those feelings into adulthood. But when she really needed help, Paul was there to help her out not only offering her friendship but marriage. Mary wanted nothing of it or did she. This was a fun story between Mary and Paul. We met Mary in the previous book, and I was wondering what the back story was between her and Paul and why she didn’t like him. That backstory has a lot to do with the current story. I enjoyed watching Paul try his best to bring Mary back to him and you could tell how much they both really loved each other but were afraid. I’m looking forward to the next story.
